  1. I agree with your observations but not your conclusions. What is actually happening is you are just getting old.
  2. McMockney has been a bit quiet of late. Work or summing apparently. I did wave a sandwich at him this morning but he either didn?t see or ignored me.
  3. Is this a Marvel only party? http://pinupartfans.com/Images/Category_1293/subcat_19822/Thumbs/Simon%20Bisley%20-%20Lobo.jpg
  4. Is it a bra size?
  5. Yes all the best OutOfFocus Andrew. Enjoy your celebrations.
  6. tum-te-tum indeed. Who is this North guy and why does he have 116 runs?
  7. I do keep some Old Spice handy for those rare occasions when I get the old safety razor, bowl and brush out and go ?clean shaven?. The sting on freshly scraped skin is fantastic. That and chicks dig it. Edited because I realy, realy can't spell today.
  8. Tut, tut, tut you gots to get out more. Some of this area?s finest establishments are to be found in areas far flung from the Lane.
  9. Can anyone recommend a good plumber?

Word! Jolly good too. It?s about time the S.A.S got some of the publicity it deserves. (start this one from 2mintes in)
  11. We could also mention that a large portion of the users of this forum meet up on a monthly basis for drinks and extend an open invitation to all. There are also many other smaller social gatherings of different sorts arranged through the forum which are also open to all. So before spewing forth unfounded bile why not come and get to know who the people who live around you really are.
  12. It has a plaque that says something. I read it yesterday but have now forgoten what it said so sorry I'm not help really. I like it too. I think the ram with 'ave that wolf though.

  14. St George did exist. He was a soldier in the Roman Army and came from Turkey I think. He did something in Spain which is why he is their Patron. Then it had something to do with the crusaders that he ended up being celebrated as patron in Britian. I think anyway go look it up or summing I'm supposed to be working.

Is this thread the Spandex Appreciation Society?
  16. Thanks for point out my hypocrisies. I shall no longer attend the Notting Hill Carnival because I?m not from the Caribbean, or go to any Diwali celebrations as I am not Hindu. Come to think of it I have very little direct English ancestry so there goes Guy Fawks. I couldn?t in all honesty call myself a practising Christian so Christmas, Easter and Halloween are out too. Or perhaps I just won?t take it so seriously and not get my back up about St Patrick ?s Day being a well marketed excuse for a party.
  17. Stella Chelsea Hair gel River Island Cheap cocaine
  18. Yeah I think St Georges day has been taken away from the far right. This is in itself a reason to celebrate it.

Sarcasm this is, about a point that was being argued (more abstractly than practically) on another thread yesterday.
  20. 60 minutes of jazz hands.
  21. Bang - Gorky Park
  22. I learnt that the coffee machine on the 3rd floor gives you a proper full cup of coffee. The one on the 2nd floor is still broken.
  23. 1) No they will not be celebrating St David?s or St Andrew?s days either because the Welsh and the Scots don?t get all jealous about St Guinness?s day or perhaps because, as Huguenot argued here http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,232048,page=3 Welsh and Scottish culture are only figments of our imagination. 2) A green waist coat, hobnails with buckles and a hat with a buckle on it for one and Morris Dancing gear for the other.
  24. Listen not everyone is going to be immediately familiar with how an internet forum works, how this one works specifically, how many people have been looking for plumber in the last 5 days or even what a ?search function? is. Just deal with it. It does no harm. Unless you feel that people should have to pass a test on forum etiquette before registering which kinda defeats the object of a community service open to everyone.
  25. Is it Mott the Hoople?
