  1. Brandon? Who is this Brandon? Pumas? Pumas? Well I suppose you'll be wanting a soft final. Just spoke to my neighbour. Apparently I was singing at the top of m voice when I came up the garden path early yesterday morning. I must have had a good night.
  2. I?m planning on heading down to the CPT for the rugby. Hope my head heals first though as at the moment it feels as if it has been cleaved by an axe.
  3. Can?t say I like it when they?re screaming in my ear on Sunday morning but other than that I think kids are great! They know how to truly live, a skill we tend to forget as we get older. Just found out by text from South Africa that there is a new addition to my extended family! :))(tu):)-D(tu):))One more person to smile politely at my ramblings when I?m old and grey.
  4. I was talking to someone last night about this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewWyW6lT1HE
  5. Sorry to be the one to have to point this out about the esteemed Mr Yankovic?s video there but (Harmonica Solo) is not a palindrome. In fact Olo Sacino Marh is bird from Japanese mythology that guarded the seventh level of the heaven of water and had lotus blossoms for feathers.
  6. Thanks for last night folks but? Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! My head really hurts! Why would the gods do this to me? All I did was have fun and drink too much. Oh cruel world. At least thou hast brought forth ibuprofen and bacon sarnies from thy bounty. hmm bounty?
  7. Eloquently put Jah.
  8. First thing my Irish dad-in-law said to me when I got off the plane to visit the holiday home in Turkey was, ?Brendan I?m just warning you now so you are prepared. Men are going to kiss you!? I was quite relieved when I realised all he meant was that it was a normal local greeting.
  9. Ant Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Pfeh - much less fun. Perhaps for the suave and cool Ant but for the shy it is a whole world of awkwardness. Left or right first? 1 or 2? What if we both go different directions and end up getting the lips? Tongue or no tongue? It?s a minefield I tell you! A bloody minefield!
  10. Just read this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7040259.stm . and I must say I can identify. Can?t we just stick to handshakes?
  11. It is the other way from Turnwise.
  12. That's not a palindrome.
  13. I was working for the Fire Brigade when they were on strike about 5 years ago. I wasn?t part of uniformed staff so wasn?t strike myself but there is a station right next door to the offices where I worked. One afternoon I was outside talking to some of the guys on the picket when we heard a call of ?Fire! Fire!? coming from the rooms above the pub on the other side of the station. We looked up and sure enough there were flames coming out of a window and a very frightened looking guy trying to climb out. Without a moments hesitation the guys on the picket ran inside, grabbed their gear and had the fire out and everything sorted in 10 minutes. They were back on the picket by the time the green goddesses turned up. Sorry that doesn't have anything to do with the Royal Mail.
  14. Good form!
  15. I?ve never seen a child in the Crystal Palace Tavern. I don?t know if it is policy or not. They don?t serve food. No children though. Plenty of childish behavior but no children. You don?t seem to see many kids in the EDT either.

  17. Anyone still got a PS2 and want to swap some games?
  18. Nothing wrong with massive conkers.

    a joke

See : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casper_the_friendly_ghost It is somewhat of a surrealist joke. ;-)
  21. Go ahead. (tu)
  22. mockney piers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- (yeah, I know > where, sorry Brendan). Yeah sorry I went off on one a bit yesterday MP. It wasn?t directed at anyone. Just unthinkingly venting. I seem to be doing it a lot lately but you will be pleased to know I had a cigarette last night and I feel like a new man! :))
  23. LostThePlot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Why the convertible versions? Like I said before. The fun in driving them! You always feel like you're going faster with the top down. Also feeling the sun on a hot day. And I will add the feeling of being out in the open. I have had the pleasure of careering through the desert with the top down and the radio loud and it is a sublime experience. (Although it was in a golf and not a mustang unfortunately but in my head I was driving a mustang.) I suppose I can also be a bit of a show off. Although I would hesitate before driving around London with the top down for fear of pigeon poo or being hit by a stray kebab.

What is yellow and flies through walls? Casper the friendly banana.
  25. If I had a choice it would have to be one of these http://www.concept1.ca/images/cust%20ride%20porsche%20blk.jpg Or one of these. http://www.justmustangs.com.au/images/1966/1966-FordMustang-Convertible-v8auto/1966-FordMustang-Convertible-v8auto-front.jpg
