  1. The 176 generally smells like stale chips which is slightly more preferable.
  2. To be honest even if we didn?t need one I would still own a car (although it would probably be 30 years old and broken most of the time). Driving is one of my greatest pleasures. I fcking hate driving in London though. It is bad for my blood pressure. The 37 does smell of poo. So do the carriages on South Eastern trains. The 185 smells like vomit on a regualr basis.
  3. And some guy I met in a pub the other night.
  4. My car lives on friern road. I'm not very happy about this at all. If I contact the police do you think they will do anything at all? I know they say they are aware of it but are they doing anything?
  5. Yeah stay in step.
  6. Parrots are indeed descended from dinosaurs. I?m glad the government is involved.
  7. A strict nurse? Not sure that?s entirely appropriate chat for this thread Ant.
  8. My partner needs one as she is a midwife who is on call most of the time and she can't take all her equipment on the bus. there I've justified mine.
  9. Support groups for internet forum addiction? On a serious note I do think that the British psyche is probably less open to the idea than folks like the yanks but this could be a reflection on the lack of regulation and the number of quacks out there.
  10. Hey I did all sorts of drugs and dumb sht as a teenager but in the town I grew up in if you had gone around vandalising stuff you would have got a sound kicking from your neighbors who would then have taken you to the cops who would have given you anther kicking and then called your folks who would have taken you home and given another just for good measure. It was all very civilized.
  11. Great big Victorian building, red and tan brickwork.
  12. I don?t see the point in vandalising cars. Why not just nick the thing at lest you get something out of that. Why destroy anything that someone else has designed and built? It should be appreciated. Well except fax machines. I?m all for smashing up fax machines.
  13. Well possibly without my make-up.
  14. Yeah I'll dress in a full length leather coat and a gorilla mask.
  15. Anyone want to join me lurking in the shadows with a bat tonight to give these scrotes a little "welcome to the area"?
  16. I didn?t know cobblers were particularly pro monarchy as a rule.
  17. Larry, Darryl and Darryl
  18. Good, Bad and Ugly
  19. My personal theory is that they are descended from a group of pigeons that nested in an old nuclear waste container that washed up on the banks of the Thames sometime in the ?80s. Their is an innocuous office in a building on Whitehall filled with filling cabinets and a messy haired man in a tweed suit who has been cataloging their activities since the early ?90s. A pair of MI5 agents engaged on another line of enquiry* have been following a trail of clues that has led them to his door. *A pensive young man (perhaps played by a young Jack Palance) and his domineering, fast talking, sexy female partner (definitely Billy Piper).
  20. Regardless of your personal taste in cars someone has had their property vandalized. That?s the issue here. I would be blindly mad and quite possibly act a bit unreasonably if it happened to my car. The guy has my every sympathy and I hope they catch the buggers who did it. As for taste in motors, if people don?t buy new Porsches now then in 20 years time there won?t be any classics around for people like me to appreciate, thereby making themselves seem cool and interesting.
  21. In the second world war zee Germans welded armor plating to VW beetles to use as armor cars. Their rugged chassis and air-cooled engines (wouldn?t freeze up in the winter) made them very handy. They also disguised them as tanks to trick the allies. Professor Ferdinand Porsche designed the VW beetle.
  22. Jeez talk about someone geting the wrong end of the stick.
  23. I often see them on the golf course (feel free to bring my taste in trousers into question) in Beckenham. I've also seen them in Dulwich Park and I saw 1 on Peckham Rye last week. There are shedloads in SW London.
  24. I?m really disappointed with how sophisticated they look. I demand lower cut tops and more red lipstick!
  25. I?m busy reading a Tank Girl comic and she has just discovered a WW2 tank in her granddad?s shed. She says it?s sht. I?ll take her word for it. So you can keep your Porsche Panzer.
