  1. I walked past last Sunday (I think it was last Sunday) and heard music issuing from the beer garden. Was there live music yesterday afternoon too? Is this a regular thing?
  2. Doooood? She?s a pretty girl who does catchy pop, wears fishnets, has black nail polish and can do the devil-horns-salute-thingy with the best of ?em. That?s her pop star persona. They all have one. She will never be a patch on Slutty Spice though, back in her flame-red hair and jiggerly bits heyday.
  3. nah nah nah nanana nah
  4. I think it is Ladygooner. Or a code for some or other depraved activity. Or multicoloured plastic hippos lying on their bellies and furiously munching small white pill shaped things. (which may or may not be significant)
  5. Bob Marley - 3 little birds Everyone likes that. Surely?
  6. I wouldn't trust them. Then again I wouldn't trust any other estate agents either.
  7. Dooont you remember?..
  8. Last night (after hearing it on the radio) I realised that I really like Cher?s cover of Walking in Memphis. Although I?m not yet sufficiently ?over myself? to not find that slightly embarrassing.
  9. But I'm not a real musician Tillie. Just a failed musician turned narrow minded music snob. ;-)
  10. Ok Bob. A few weeks ago I spent a lazy Friday afternoon in the Music Room. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,7146,page=15 Check out pg 15 and you should get a general idea.
  11. Fair enough. Personally I just don?t like whiny introspective music. ?You?re a rock star dammit! Not me on an internet forum. So stop moaning and dance monkey, or get off stage!?
  12. No fun in that bob.
  13. To be fair bob I am being intentionally over-the-top. Estate agents can only exist if there are people willing to use them. I just think we should all think twice about how good the reasons are that some companies think up to get their hands on our money.
  14. Hitler was only a head of state.
  15. It does look better than a derelict shop front but it is still fuking ugly. And sorry to bring this up again, I know it has been done to death but; Allowing estate agents, in their current form, to exist at all is like tolerating a bunch of rude pushy cunts who walk around the aisles in the supermarket, tell you what you can and can?t buy, force you to a teller of their choice and then rob you. But then again we tolerate being robbed by banks, insurance companies and government every day. We are so used to bending and taking it that we actually convince ourselves that it is all for the best. Like a dog who gets kicked repeatedly and still cowers back to lick its master?s hand. So now we are all mildly ambivalent to the fact that another estate agent opening. We try to be rational, not be melodramatic. We had our initial rants so let?s see what they are like. Take the good with the bad, if you don?t laugh you?ll cry and a bird in the bush is great until the parky catches you etc. etc. We live in a freeish market so everyone has the right to ply their trade and peddle their wares and if others are fool enough to fall for it then fair play. But we really have to stay guarded to markets being manipulated by specific industries. The banks already have complete control of us. Who is next? Well that was a cathartic Monday morning rant. Sorry if it gets this loonged.

  17. So the amount of people watching it is still roughly equal to the population of New Zealand.

SE22 dot com is suspiciously similar to SE20 dot com and SE23 dot com
  19. Would it be possible to galvanize enough community support to get the council to ban estate agent motorcars from parking on LL? Given a little thought a legitimate reason could be thought up.
  20. I just remembered about this one. Don?t know if it was shown in the UK though. WKRP In Cincinnati http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMvi4yOtbyk

    Great Gigs

The Spice Girls supported by Billy Ocean. November ?97, Ellis Park Stadium ? Johannesburg. Nelson Mandela and Prince Charles were also there it couldn?t have been wrong. ?. No? Oh well? suit yourselves. Mighty Mighty Bostones were one of the best live bands I?ve ever seen. Faithless live at the V festival a few years back were definitely notable. Not really something I thought I would like but they absolutely blew me away.
  22. He?s mean, he?s rich His wife is a bitch He drives in a big yellow car He lives in a place In the middle of Dallas And we all know his name?s JR - To the tune of the Dallas theme
  23. Have you ever shut your eyes and listened to the Simpson?s theme? That is one NUTS! Piece of music.
  24. No it's not you. Well not unless you're Scottish, live in Bristol and are called Tom.
  25. A friend of mine actually has the Littlest Hobo theme on CD. He likes to wack it on at parties when everyone has had a few. Although it is starting to show our age lately when half the crowd don't recognise it.
