  1. Surely that's because it's brewery owned and run (the wood house that is) So the food comes pre made in a van. This is pure speculation on my part but it just looks like that's the case. Especially since it got the latest Youngs treatment.
  2. Far hat butt
  3. The one in Oxted doesn?t/. Or I just couldn?t find it.
  4. The bit where Brad Pit gets hit by the cars in Meet Joe Black
  5. Well if this is what we need to produce some decent super heroes I?m all for it. Decades of buggering about with nooclear bombs and toxic waste haven?t, despite what ream upon ream of comic book suggests. Minotaur Man may be just what the world needs. If we?re lucky we may even get some of those women in spandex with the improbable breasts.
  6. What sort of cheese? And are you just stroking it or getting propperly in there with your fingers?
  7. Sheesh it's just a shop folks. They don't even sell pickled onion Monster Munch and the air conditioning is too cold. I went in the other day to get one of those bottles of Sauvignon Blanc with the bicycle on it that they sell and I like. The sort that goes perfectly with pickled onion Monster Munch but did they have any? Did they buggery. Had to get my puffed corn snack from the petrol station.
  8. Today's indy cartoon sums it up pretty well: http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/the-daily-cartoon-760940.html
  9. But that?s not what they want to do. They want to address the problem by pushing people out of their homes and forcing them to enter, ?the private property market? ie to rent a house at exploitative prices* and never have any security over where they live and never have the chance to achieve any security. People deserve the opportunity to have their own secure homes. Ideally they should be available in the private sector but they aren?t. You don?t solve the problem by taking what little access to property people have away without replacing it with something. But the human cost to peoples? lives means fukall to arseholes on some sort of ideological campaign to take away from people with less, packaged up as some sort of social engineering but really motivated by the fact that they hold people who are poorer than them in contempt and resent them having even the little that they do. And this shit about the how tory attitude being somehow good and worthwhile to everyone trotted out by people who are comfortably unaffected is just fuking insulting to the thousands who have to deal with the human cost every day. * Probably off one of their cunt supporters who believes in the free market so long as it keeps him free to exploit other people.
  10. That Odeon has the most uncomfortable seats ever put in a cinema in the world ever since cinemas got seats. Not a people know that lot.
  11. The next significant settlement was Anglo Saxon, to the West at Aldwych the auld wick. Not a lot of people know that.
  12. Well I read the Daily Mail this morning over someone?s shoulder and I now have it on good authority that if you eat this European satanic beef you will die immediately and your children will be eaten by gypsies. Best course of action is to stay indoors and not to take any calls from foreigners.
  13. Only the English could bring social climbing into supermarkets. I?m not sure if it?s charmingly idiosyncratic or just very sad.
  14. Well obviously. If it would he, or people of his ilk, wouldn?t be suggesting it. They see equality as a bad thing. So long as they?re on the top. And as they?re on the top they obviously know what?s best for everyone else. If they were at least honest about being antisocial bastards that would be fine but what really gets me is that they try to contrive bullshit about their view actually being morally valid.
  15. What are they, some sort of fruit?
  16. giggirl Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And what's wrong with Ocado? Can?t be doing with foreign food me.
  17. 'swone of the benefits about being working class. Eating fried chicken all day. Don't go taken that away now too.
  18. Me. I was gloating. I live near a Waitrose and you don?t ergo I?m better than you. So there!
  19. So someone who works 10 hours a day for minimum wage to support a family is supposed to stop relying on the state and fend for themselves Mitch? Oh I suppose they should just stop complaining and get a better job.
  20. Does anyone apart from Louisa care where Waitrose do or don't open stores? Coincidentally I have one down the road where I live now. What's the big deal? I don't really do shopping but I went in there the other night to get wine and it was just like a super market. There were shelves with stuff on them, tills and a screaming kid. Like all super markets everywhere.
  21. But how else is he going to create a properly disenfranchise underclass?
  22. True but only if you address the issue that there is not any housing out there and what there is, is prohibitively expensive for most people. So what the, prime minister, is suggesting is taking away council housing from people on the assumption that they will be able to. ?enter the private sector.? How? Is someone who has needed a council house suddenly going to have a few hundred K in their pocket to buy a house? Or are they going to be moved out and forced to rent privately where they will have an exploitative agreement, no security of tenure and no ownership over what by rights should be their home? Doubt he gives a toss. Oh but wait in 5 years time the economy is going to be booming, all the people who now do socially useless jobs are going to be gainfully employed by the banks (god bless their magnanimity) and people will be so socially mobile they will end up in the gutter without even noticing.
  23. He?s a conservative DJKQ. To him a mother and father with 2 or 3 kids who both work but are forced to rent off the council because due to the inequality in society it is the only way they can house their family are not people but rather a nuisance who should, no deserve to get chucked out of their house ever five years. The human cost of what it does to these people?s lives and their children?s lives means sod all to him. They aren?t his responsibility. Social mobility my arse. It?s just another term this sort of scum use to try to morally justify policy that persecutes people whose lives and situations they couldn?t even come close to understanding.
