  1. The person in the mirror is already older than me and often drunker so only a matter of time until they're uglier.
  2. Probably could have done with leaving your phone at home.
  3. That actually sounds pretty fun Mick. I may give it a go sometime.
  4. Well obviously. His iphone would have been half inched when he was at the bar.
  5. I can't. My phone doesn't have a tv in it. Shit phone that it is. Suddenly I feel inadequate. I've gone to the pub to watch their TV though. Does that count? I could never match SeanMac at funky though. Not many folks in this world can even if they have tellys in their phone. He'll almost always be watching something cooler.

  7. I dunno I often go to the pub to sit on my own and read my book.
  8. I often dress in clothes I like to stay at home. When not walking around in the nip that is. Granted I often look like a slob with his arse hanging out his trousers but that has more to do with my dress sense than not making an effort.
  9. Diamonds and guns - The Transplants.
  10. The Facebook thing on my phone says I have more friends than anyone who was born outside of a nuclear contamination zone can count on their fingers and toes. Still nobastard ever bastard phones me.
  11. Bullet Lovers - The Jesus and Mary Chain
  12. He's not doing badly either.
  13. You're on the wrong thread Sean but here you go anyway: http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/24%11hour-drinking-would-have-worked-if-britain-wasn't-dreadful%2c-say-experts-201007282951/
  14. She bangs the drums - Stones Roses
  15. I don?t even see the point of having a phone. Nobody ever fucking phones me and when they do it inevitably means I have to go and do something other than what I was currently enjoying doing.
  16. Arseholes Jeremy. Something that Steve thinks I have more than one of.
  17. Who's this Morgan chap? Where's he from? Nobody cleared this with me.
  18. I'm with you on that. I'm happy with umpires refering things up to the thrid umpire if they're unsure or even a realtime link from the 3rd upire to the on field upire to tell him where a ball went but players asking questions of the umpire is just not on.
  19. Yeah.
  20. A lot of people dislike Adventure because it?s everything inside 72 wasn?t. Inside 72 was a dark dingy little place that sold interesting beer, had various rock memorabilia on the walls played good music, didn?t have any need for big burly visible bouncers etc. Adventure replacing it was just a bit of a shock to the system. The Drum too was individual in it s own way. It had personality. Granted that personality was sometimes grumpy, hungover and cantankerous but when it was on form it was quite sublime.
  21. You seem to have a unique insight into the mind of the typical Greenpeace activist David. Are you wearing sandals?
  22. Sorry I?m going off topic and venting my general anger at the self serving, exploitative, nastiness of humanity. I?ll leave this alone and go contemplate starting a threat about why arseholes are arseholes.
  23. No it?s the type of attitude displayed. ?That?s just the way it is, sorry.? Whether it?s someone going on about why certain people get opportunities in business over others or why a black kid who grows up on an estate sharing a room with 2 siblings is going to get pissed on all his life by the kids who grow up in big house in the next suburb no matter how hard he tries to make something of his life. Situations may be different but the psychology behind the attitude is exactly the same. How far it goes just depends on the boundaries within the specific society it is happening in. In America 200 years ago slavery was ?just the way it is? In South Africa 20 years ago apartheid was ?just the way it is? In this country your nasty little class system has always been, ?just the way it is? Should I go on to Germany, China, Ireland etc. Different places where the boundaries as to what happens are different but the same base attitude by the same type of bastards.
