  5. If the chair takes exception to my language, as I?m sure they will, that?s fair enough and I will not complain. There are however situations when there is no point arguing with people and I?m not nor have I ever been someone not to call it as I see it. I?d say the same thing to someone who was trying to argue that rape is ok as long as it doesn?t happen to them.
  6. No. A throw away comment like, c'est la vie, when talking about people's live being ripped apart is horrible. If anyone has any issue with it I will be more than happy to tell them what I think of them to their face.
  7. Sorry but do you have any idea how insulting it is making comments like that comparing moving by choice to chase money and a family being evicted from their home and the damage that will cause to their lives. People like you sometimes show your true colours with comments like that.
  8. There a big difference between moving out of choice for reasons which normally involve an improvement in your circumstance and being forced to move out of your family out of your home into a worse situation. But you know, c'est la vie. That?s the way it goes. It?s not you and your family getting kicked out of your home is it, [expletive removed].
  9. Shit! I watched it the sound off at work so didn?t even realise he was being racist and trying to fight a woman. Just thought he was freaking out.
  10. I got the tube during rush hours from London Bridge to Canary Warf yesterday. This did not fill me with joy. I do not take the tube often and would normally rather chew razor blades than get it during the Morning Hate. But when I got down to the Jubilee Line platform at LB people were queuing for the tube like normal civilised people and not behaving like a bunch of panicked animals. It wasn?t even half hearted queuing either. There was a neat single file row in front of each door waiting for the tube to arrive. When it did people were let off and then the queue filed into carriage until there was no more space. No pushing, not blocking doors. It was almost pleasant. I never thought I would see the day but I?m pretty sure it wasn?t a dream.
  11. Yeah I'm feeling old today too.

  21. Talking of ding dong Uma Thurman does the twist with some fat guy in Pulp Fiction. I think that's my favourite movie with a twist.
  22. In the same spirit, Sat?nico Pandemonium. Ding dong.
  23. I love it. Admittedly the, everyone turns into a vampire halfway thought the story, genre may be a bit overused but you can?t go wrong with what you know.
  24. Really? You didn't expect Salma Hihat to turn into a vampire?
  25. Youngs have refurbed most of their pubs in similar fashion over the last few years. I don?t have a problem with new chairs and some paint ect. and their beer is very good but the food is always the same overpriced blandness. A couple of tasteless sausages and some dry mash without enough gravy which you could get in a caf for ?3 but sold in the pub with a gratis 30 minute wait for over a tenner. Just be grateful you don?t live in SW London where you have to go out of your way to not end up in a Youngs pub.
