It's not a political issue ffs. It's a civil issue. Some people are bad neighbours. Cyclists disproportionately so in my experience. The OP has politely asked what can be done. I think the community can come up with a solution without having to resort to getting an MP down here to marshall bad cyclists.

Sue, the hole in the wall in front of this car is where the other Mercedes crashed through the wall before Christmas. You can some of the black plastic debris from the other car but you can more clearly see the damage on top of the bricks where the bottom of the other car was (after the hole towards the bottom of the image). The second photo on here shows where the black car punched through the wall further back, behind the car.

If the flood works are done why are there still 6 ft metal fences all over the park (and also a massive flooodwater lake right where Gala is going to be) ?

There was another Mercedes crashed in almost exactly the same spot on Sunday morning a few weeks before Xmas.

Why are the flood works taking so long ? And why do they need to close so much of the park to do them when most of the time nothing seems to be going on?

Agreed, but they also weren't intended to be abandoned and left to rot which is what has happened. Time to try something else.
