Seems like you are saying that the traffic in Lordship Lane has gone up (by more than 20% of the traffic that was in EDG) to accomdate the closed roads Rah rah?
There is a camera on a pole there on the traffic island which I guess is a pre-existing bus stop or double yellow line enforcement camera - they seem to be doubling up existing cameras like that and the congestion charge ones.
Cyclists have never bothered to stop at the red lights at East Dulwich Road. I've seen several rows there between cyclists going through red and pedestrians trying to cross the road with young children on a green man.
I have autopay and drove out to the M4, via the south circular then through Clapham, battersea, chelsea etc. The autopay picked me up on Battersea Bridge but I must have been past lots of other cameras that day!
I don't why macutd even bothered to post this on behalf of so-called "Southwark Highways". It's not like they have bothered to ever listen to the responses when they do these sham consultations. Just wasting everybody's time and money.
ULEZ has failed to have any impact on traffic whatsoever. People just bought new cars. Then the mayor moaned that the scheme wasn#t making as much money as he expected (it's making about 25% of what they hoped for) revealing that it was never about reducing pollution and was just there to make money out of us.
"The vast majority of this is not adjusted whatsoever" Appendix C3 contains 44 footnotes explaining how the data has been adjusted. Appendix C3 is only 105 pages long. The footnotes saying the data has been adjusted appear on almost every third page.
James, that specific problem is in Goose Green ward. I'm grateful to Rockets for picking it up and helping out my fellow Goose Green residents. Do you really want Dulwich Hill councillors coming on to our patch to clean up our streets? Better for Goose Green councillors to deal with Goose Green I think.
She's in your Who's who though mate. https://se24.co.uk/whos-who-at-se24/# It looks overtly political to just have labour MPs and councillors involved. By the way I think your website has some malware or something wrong with it.
Seen quite a few cars smashed into on crystal palace rd by drivers going too fast trying to get through the jams and make up lost time from lordships lane. Hoping the council will close it off soon too now they've painted the cycle spine markings on
That's right but no one in the council is going to help those of us who know have busier roads unless it means closing MORE roads. So the only answer is to be as selfish as the people that caused this mess in the first place.
