  1. Moght be worth looking into whether the slaters now have squatters rights
  2. Pollution has gone down in the central section of east dulwich grove though Pete, so it doesn't matter that it has gone up so much in your table.
  3. And will they leave the strips in for January 2022 so that they can compare apples with apples? Doubt it, but let's see.
  4. Is the undoctored January 2019 data actually available? I guess if they had just used that data instead there would be no reductions in traffic anywhere in EDG?
  5. This thread is just getting started now that the councillors are here to tell the truth...
  6. Who knows, but even our local councillor is now saying it's ok for EDG to carry more traffic because Melbourne Grove has less traffic. Heartblock was right all along.
  7. This is quite a staggering admission. "messageRe: LTN: Our Healthy Streets - Dulwich: Phase 3 Posted by jamesmcash Today, 07:55PM Hi CPR Dave Me: "The data show that traffic on EDG central has fallen while traffic on EDG east has risen" You: "That only makes sense if all of the additional traffic in "EDG east" stats and finishes before the counter at the health centre." No, this is not correct. Traffic going between EDG east and EGD central has almost certainly risen."
  8. I'm sorry but that is an utter crock.
  9. "The data show that traffic on EDG central has fallen while traffic on EDG east has risen" That only makes sense if all of the additional traffic in "EDG east" stats and finishes before the counter at the health centre. It can only be the selfish people that live in the closed roads that account for the difference.
  10. Unless the increase in the eastern section is explained 100% by people who live in the closed roads only being able to get out in their cars onto EDG. That can't be the case though because they all cycle now and not a single one of them is a hypocrite.
  11. James your second post t still doesn't make any sense though, unless all the westbound is now doing a u turn in one of the closed roads, because there is nowhere for that traffic to drive through to if they don't go past the health centre. It's gated communities all the way up to Townely Rd.
  12. "consultations which seem to be held up as some sort of gold standard of democracy, are far from it" Something we can all agree on finally, given the debacle that has been the LTN consultation (and hte CPZ one before it)
  13. Cllr McAsh,your post only makes sense if the central section of east dulwich gorve was one way.
  14. I'm going to lobby the council to increase council tax rates on the gated roads now that they are more valuable. The money raised can be spent on de-pollution equipment for everyone else.
  15. Looks you live in the Low Internet Traffic Neighbourhood. They are all a bit backwards that side of East Dulwich as it goes.
  16. They don't want to talk about the data because they have no answer to it
  17. I see it every single day. Some go straight through across the road, some try to pretend they are pedestrians and cross in the direction of the green men, and there is one particular lady who cycles up the dropped curbs to go round the corner on one red light and then continue her journey off the the next dropped curb onto the road. Every single day.
  18. Monkey your brain is too small to notice that I was talking about how cyclists round here behave towards pedestrians
  19. Hang on now you are saying that two thirds of East Dulwich Grove has had an increase in traffic! Are you sure this a "good thing" ??
  20. Because most of us walk around the local area, not drive around it I suppose. and as a walker, cyclists are most often the biggest menace round here.
  21. Seems like you are saying that the traffic in Lordship Lane has gone up (by more than 20% of the traffic that was in EDG) to accomdate the closed roads Rah rah?
  22. There is a camera on a pole there on the traffic island which I guess is a pre-existing bus stop or double yellow line enforcement camera - they seem to be doubling up existing cameras like that and the congestion charge ones.
  23. Cyclists have never bothered to stop at the red lights at East Dulwich Road. I've seen several rows there between cyclists going through red and pedestrians trying to cross the road with young children on a green man.
  24. I guess some of these cameras are the ones TFL already used for stuff like the no right turn at East Dulwich Road / Peckham Rye.
