Peckham covers the SE15 and SE22 postcodes. Forest Hill covers SE23 and SE26 after the Sydenham sorting office in Silverdale was also sold. SE21 still has their own sorting office at Alleyn Road.
  2. A bank statement today and nothing else after a week of no post.
  3. Amazon drivers have been really good recently at ringing me while I'm out. I normally tell them to leave the packages with my neighbour.
  4. It's always disappointing when I order from Amazon that they decide to send it via the Royal Mail as it's a guess if they'll deliver it on time or not. Yet as mentioned, the courier companies and Amazon themselves have proven that with the right logistics, they can provide a decent parcel delivery service.
  5. Merry Christmas to everyone on EDF.

  7. I posted a card in Crystal Palace Road (opposite Crawthew Grove) on Monday, the recipient got it today (Weds).
  8. One letter dated December 17th arrived today, but still missing Private Eye's Christmas edition.
  9. I've got an appointment at Tessa Jowell on Dec 21 (Wednesday.)
  10. When I was in Lloyds Pharmacy on Friday, they didn't have any either which is frustrating when people have been queuing for up to an hour to get in there.

There's also G.Fast which is even faster FTTC which comes with a second modem. They offer it on my cabinet.
  12. I had more backed up post on Monday.
  13. Another delivery today of remaining packages sent last week. Incidentally I got an email from the Royal Mail today acknowledging the issues they current have. Services in the East Dulwich (SE22) postcode area We're sorry to advise that you may experience disruption to deliveries in parts of the SE22 postcode area due to resourcing issues at the East Dulwich Delivery Office. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. We'll be back in touch to let you know when resourcing issues have improved.
  14. First delivery in a week today. Still waiting for packages sent last week.

Unless you finish work in the morning, it's hardly going to be of any use to library users if they're not delivered until the early evening.
  16. The last thing Peckham and Camberwell need is another Zarah Sultana type MP, but Labour could put up the worst candidate in that seat and they'd still vote Labour.
  17. malumbu Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Appears another Trojan horse for anti LTN. You're the first to mention LTN. In any case, considering you live across the border, is it really any of your business to get so involved in Southwark issues? You don't see any of us interfering in Lewisham's awful council.
  18. Round the back of Forest Hill Station on Perry Vale is selling trees.

I think so, which does > not mean that provision for people with other > needs isn't warranted at all. Both are equal. A mental health disability is as much important when it comes to planning as for someone with a physical disability. Retail is finally recognising that by adding quiet hours in addition to physical disability access to premises. As I said, the points some are making are pure ableism where hidden disabilities aren't considered to be serious enough to warrant review compared to someone who has a physical disability which a neurotypical can understand but not comprehend those who are different to them.
  20. So the only buses serving East Dulwich Station this weekend will be the P13 and 42.

There are people with mental health issues who need to use a car as much as someone with a physical disability. Disability isn't as clear cut as most people think it is and we shouldn't discriminate based on if they have mobility issues or not when it comes to transport planning.

Tories are fundamentally pro choice (ie > car) and against intervention (ie protecting the > environment). You don't expect a rival party to use the negative elements LTN scheme as a reason for gaining votes in May 2022? I'd expect the Lib Dems to be pro choice in their manifesto regarding these schemes, while Labour will continue to shoehorn them in as they claim to know best for everyone in Dulwich as long as lemmings vote them in as they do in every local and general election.
  23. I don't use the postbox opposite me by The Grove as it's hard to tell when it's been collected or not, instead I use the PO on Lordship Lane or the Covid priority post box near Sainsbury's Local.
  24. Southwark Tories have a survey up about the LTN scheme. https://www.southwarkconservatives.org.uk/form/streetspace-ltn-survey?fbclid=IwAR1GUAy33a0F0C2zZ3ssyGciRFle3iE6EtAAK5wniT16-s9qRL_v388VDDg
