sarahandpoppy
Does anyone know if the Orange network is good in East Dulwich and Dulwich village? Thank you Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1017-orange-network-works-in-dulwich/ Share on other sites
Keef
I know several Orange users in ED, and they all seem happy (they can hear me when I call them). The village can be up and down for reception whoever you're with. Ant
I'm with Orange. Have never had any reception trouble in ED or the village. Or anywhere in London for that matter. Asset
I'm with Orange - have had occasional loss of signal in the Village, elsewhere no problem (except parts of Scotland!). Keef
Just a thought, you're not up the top of Lordship Lane towards Sydenham Hill and Hornimans are you. There's a real reception problem there! fractionater
I'm with Orange and am by Goose Green. I find I get ocassional reception problems. I finally worked out that my reception breaks up when a plane flies overhead! - anyone else experience this? I have no problem getting an Orange signal in our back garden, but often can't out the front of our house (even though it's far less exposed). I don't think it's a problem limited to Orange tho', but a general problem in this bit of ED. SeanMacGabhann
Of course all you O2ers will be celebrating being able to have an iPhone after todays newsof course, if this were a thread asking about the latest mast erection , signal strength wouldn't be the issue Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1017-orange-network-works-in-dulwich/#findComment-26336 Share on other sites
Mark
I don't want to hijack this thread so I've started a thread in the Lounge (as it's not East Dulwich specific) called Which phone - Nokia N95 or a Blackberry? . Any advice from you mobile phone people appreciated. AB
Only time I have a problem is on the train between Peckham Rye and East Dulwich - always cuts out on Orange. At least it's reliable and I expect it though - not like my old Vodafone which cut out randomly. Keef
The problem ay Hornimans is not specific to any network, I'm t-mobile, and have exactly the same thing. It's just a black spot... Same thing happens in Black Heath Village, reception just doesn't go there (probably because it can't afford the rent!).
