Yeah - Union Jack ones.

Well as my better half is out with the girls tonight and it's such a nice day out there I may finally venture along for a bit (have to work tomorrow) and put a few faces to names, I'll be the lost looking one trying to figure out which group is forumites...
I had a good night, glad I finally decided to come along and meet a few of the people behind the keyboards, I'm sure I'll be along for more drinks in the future (and I owe Piers a pint after I ashamedly was unable to down the one he brought me before closing time.....although judging by my slightly off colour start to work today that may have been a good thing).

I was indeed, although I did discover unknown to me that there was a previous EDKiwi (with a different spelling?) who a few people had assumed I was.

I think we may have said hello in passing, I was going to come over and introduce myself properly but the next think I knew it was closing time and only a few of us were left.

    • My garage tested the battery and it was indeed  completely dead. I bought another one. With the fitting etc it was extremely expensive. I now intend to use the car more 🤣
    • Nibble it, spud and artichoke are pretty obvious tastes, if it is sweet it could be a mangleworzle.  Not sure of spelling. Added a link.  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worzel_Gummidge
    • I've featured in it three times, nothing to do with issues on this site.  But.....  I don't think I've ever bought it nor do I know anyone who bought it.  We had a weekly local rag at home when I was growing up that many bought.  Put under years ago by the advertising freebie, not sure if that is still going
    • It seems that The South London Press has gone to the great recycling bin in the sky: https://pressgazette.co.uk/publishers/regional-newspapers/south-london-press-closed/    I’ve not seen the printed paper in years, admittedly.
