Just watched episode 3 of Heroes on vanilla telly.

Loving it. A lot of eye candy in there for all persuasions too.

I would have the power to make mess clear itself up. So dull I know but that's my life right now.

Then I wouldnt have poo on my jeans, yoghurt on my top, felt tip on the carpet, Weetabix encrusted on the table, slight wee patches all over childrens skirts. I would simply say my magic word (just like Superted used to) and all this would evaporate into the ether. Then I could go out and meet the other superheroes with more exciting powers. they could tell me all the cool stuff they've done. But I would be the one with no washing up to do!

So if Peter Patrelli absorbs other people?s powers and he had already absorbed his brother?s flying power, why didn?t he just fly himself up into the stratosphere to explode, thereby avoiding blowing up New York without killing his brother in the process?

Oh and also, if it was already established that exploding like an atom bomb wouldn?t kill Peter because he had absorbed Clare?s regeneration power why was everyone so worried about Clare staying behind for the explosion? Surely she would also survive.

Why didn?t Hiro just stop time and cut Syler?s head off?

I?m very confused about the whole business.

No because in the last episode the Patrellis? mother says to Clare that Peter will survive because of the power he got from Clare.

Then she freaked out and jumped out the window.

If I was being selfish I'd have the power to live on bacon sarnies and peanut butter kit-kats. But if not it would be healing. historically this would have been healing the lame, but frankly they've had quite enough of it to themselves so I'd just heal everyone...

    • Thanks Penguin. It could be a coincidence. But after years of road safety being on the local agenda they finally put the crossings in months before Dulwich Estates regain the lease on The Grove.   The Estate understands there is strong local interest in improving this area and we hope to be in a position to share some exciting updates in the near future. The temporary skatepark will remain unaffected. “Temporary skatepark” is telling.
    • Back to my earlier post about familiarity.  I was in Croydon this afternoon walking between the two main stations.  Didn't feel unsafe, but there were some 'interesting' characters on the street.  Not that any were bothered with me. Not a place I'd choose to go for a bit of a fun.  Although having said that West Croydon has some cracking restaurants and the wonderfully named Saints and Sinners bar, where I once went on a corporate do - not that I did many of these. Whoops just checked and it closed a few months ago. Back on track, I never went to the Castle as I felt it was a bit rough.  How wrong was I?  Only real pub left in the area.
    • Wow Sue! I was reading your post with interest as I’ve never really felt unsafe in London and I was born here. It was just your last paragraph that derailed me and totally changed the subject matter! So unnecessary.
