Calm down- Louisa asked why there was a dip and I answered. It's why the markets got jittery.

Good luck to you, Foxy. Enjoy the relatively brief after-effects of this momentous decision that you contributed to. News from the economic front bench so far suggests billions wiped off pensions, stagflation likely to hit increasing the cost of living for everyone and nhs likely to face it's biggest staffing crisis if free movement of people ends.

Brilliant. Can someone send me Boris Johnson's address please? I'd like to go and join the booing.

Furlong Road, Islington. At least until autumn, when regrettably it seems it'll probably be somewhere more in the SW1 area. Surely even those who are pleased with the result must view the prospect of that crooked philandering unprincipled clown being PM with some trepidation?

Oh, edit: before anyone says it's irresponsible to give out his address (which takes ten seconds to find on Google anyway) on a public forum, let's not forget the infamous 'phone call in which Boris agreed to give his mate Darius Guppy a journalist's address on condition that he wouldn't be killed, just "f*cked up a bit." That's our next prime minister presumptive.

So what work do you suggest "we" do to get out of this truly terrible mess of a country we have woken up to?

All rally round the vile Nigel Farage, who gut-wrenchingly said that "not a shot had been fired" or words to that effect, after the result? With Jo Cox not yet buried.

Dance to the strings of Boris Johnson?

I'm ashamed to be British this morning.

You will still be ruled by a government who you 'elect' and then eventually get fed up of for not doing a good enough job. Then you elect another one and so on.

If you think you are about to enter nirvana you are deluded. If it were 'our country' it would be owned equally. It isn't.

So has the mess this country is in happened over night.. ? I don't think so..

It is the result of years of poor government with no bottle to confront the bully boys in Brussels.

I am not European. I have never felt European. I have never wanted to be European.

I am half English / half Welsh..

I am certainly not ashamed to be British..

Ok.. So you have toothache.. and it will not go away...

.. You go to the Dentist and he removes your bad tooth..

.. The next morning your mouth is swollen and the pain seems worse..

.. BUT very soon your mouth gets better..

Your rotten tooth has gone..

..We should be looking to a very bright future.. Schools for our children.. Hospital beds... Affordable Housing.

UK laws without the bureaucracy from Brussels. UK taxes not influenced by Brussels.

I heard there are rumours of a Netherexit....and the Gibralterians voted 96% for 'In' out of fear I should think since they are harassed by Spain now. Anyway, I would like to see that 41 year old Romanian who was arrested for drink driving and then it was found out he had been imprisoned in Romania for rape, kicked out asap. Moves to deport him were overruled by the EU 'Supreme' Court on the grounds that the crimes were not serious enough.....how many more of his ilk are there?

So are you of the opinion that our contribution to the EU will be diverted to the NHS, education and social services? You're more deluded than I thought. When farage was asked about it this morning he said that it was a "mistake". Didn't take long to start lying did it, oops my mistake, the fooker tells nothing but lies and peddles hatred.

When they see the mess the UK will be in, they'll stay put.

I have a feeling that once the exit process is in full swing we're going to hear a lot of that ghastly American politician's phrase, "I misspoke."

No I don't. But we now know who is to blame.. Someone will be accountable and we can vote them out.

Unlike the faceless mob in Brussels we had no control over.

It's all about having control..

If you get my drift..

If you genuinely think being part of the EU is to blame for all the ills that have befallen the NHS, our education system and array of other fcuk ups, I can tell you successive governments that we voted for managed to fcuk these over not the EU. Our politicians did that without outside help. Aren't they clever?

How do you know what / who I voted for last time. (whenever that was) perhaps like many others I voted them in.

* Look here, we have some arguments you might wish to consider.

- Stop telling me what to do, you're always telling me what to do.

* Sorry, I don't want to hector you, but most politely, please consider these arguments

- I'm fed up with the screaming Left, always telling me what to think and what's good for me. I don't like the *elites*. I want to *take back control*

* I know sir, and I certainly wouldn't wish to continue a history of dictating to the working class what or how to think or patronising you by assuming oyou can't make your own choices, especially when you take the past injustices into account blah blah blah

- NOT LISTENING NOT LISTENING STOP SHOUTING ME DOWN CHAMPAGNE SOCIALIST TELLING ME WHAT TO DO I'M FED UP TAKE BACK CONTROL POINTS BASED SYSTEM

    • I would suggest that anyone accidentally driving into the square is not paying due care and attention. If you disagree, I would be interested in what you consider a basic level of competence behind the wheel. Are you a member or a ‘subscriber’? Is there a difference. Does anyone know?  Who is alleging there has been pressure put on the emergency services (not you, you’re just neutrally posting ‘updates’ 😂). It is all very transparent and accountable isn’t it 🤣
    • Yes, but as I have said before I have nothing to do with their organisation (other than subscribing to their updates which I then post on here). Sorry to disappoint you. I await your answers....
    • Hold on a minute, aren’t you the one posting regular updates from ‘One Dulwich’?
    • No idea. Ask One Dulwich   No. There are two seperate issues. I believe some cover their plates deliberately (delivery drivers etc) and a number are confused by signage. I spend a lot of time in that area and have only ever seen one car drive through and it was an elderly couple who were incredibly confused (and subsequently very apologetic to an angry cyclist who was calling them all the names under the sun).   Some questions for you to answer now: 1) Which consultation are you referring to? 2) Did you agree with the council's insistence on keeping the junction closed to emergency vehicles despite the emergency services telling them it was delaying response times?   3) At a time of funding crisis do you think £1.5m is a good spend to redesign a junction and those redesigns: - potentially increase emergency vehicle response times - do nothing to stop persistent number plate covering offenders - do nothing to slow cyclists at a pedestrian area
