One thing I noticed was that Marmite lovers seem to like Marmalade and Peanut butter too. I love both, especially thick cut orange marmalade. The best one used to be Olde English, but Lidl do a cheap brand one that is even better than the original it's copying. I go through a jar a week!! Mmmmm

This thread is really weird because it seems there are other people out there like Mr Ko! He's a Vegemite lover rather than Marmite, but he also loves marmalade and peanut butter.

CWALD - your line is so true. We emailed ma and pa-in-law last week to ask if they can bring over some Vegemite with them. They emailed back to say fine and they also offered to bring over Mr Ko's favourite brand of peanut butter!? He has also discovered Waitrose as one of the rare places that stock medium-sized jars of vegemite - most places only have the small jars and it is just about impossible to get the big jars here.

Are you sure that you're not all marmite-vegemite-marmalade-waitrose-loving-peanut-butter-eating aliens?? I used to think Mr Ko was a little weird with all his jars, but it seems like there are others like him.

He also likes ginger preserve, but one sniff of that was enough to put me off. What's in Gentleman's relish?

I also know of a 'fellow traveller', so to speak, in the Nunhead area.

Keep the faith.
