(to the tune of "The Animals came in 2 by 2"

We've got a Ghanaian from Udinese, Sulley, Sulley;

We've got a Ghanaian from Udinese, Sulley, Sulley;

And Ferguson moaned, the purple nosed coont,

When Sulley stepped up to put us in front,

And sent us marching on to Wembley in the cup!

All please learn this for Saturday - apart from Atilla who is busy learning Land of our Fathers! ;)

Shant on!

Eh? I didn't think the Market Porter had tellies. The one next door does though (wheatsheaf?) so you can drink nice beer in the Porter and then go next door for the match. Perhaps via the spectacularly expensive (but incredibly nice) sausage sandwiches in between.

Nice one Ratty - Have you heard our Torres song? Very similar, wonder where you got the idea from. ;-)

The Horseshoe at London Bridge is another good pub for footy. Not too busy to. :))

Maybe I have just gone mad! What's the pub on the riverside with loads of tellies???

Fulham did indeed play up on the last game of the season! Good luck to 'em!!

It is tradition for us to let teams win so they can stay up - we did the same to relegate the scum when we played the baggies 3 years ago! We do it deliberately - honest!

You're not thinking of The Doggetts Coat and Badge at Blackfriars Bridge are you?

Big teams in poaching players by 'reported interest' leaks shock.

So Ashton to go to Man U for a laughably insulting 'offer' of ?8 million? I really hope not.

I gather free-spending Pompey are also interested.

The guy is class and apparently the club haven't even bothered to discuss this with him yet. No wonder we can't hang on to players :(

Fook knows where we are getting all this money from, unless Sasha's daddy has flogged another nuclear submarine to some Angolan war lord!

I am determined to find out what the pub is I was going on about! Watch this space.

BTW My Cup Final nerves are kicking in HARD at the moment! Cannot concentrate on anything this week! :(

That's called the Thameside Inn and they definitely don't have TV's, that was my local pub, work wise at least, for over 8 years.

Hard luck Palace, I feel your pain. Would have been nice to see you back in the Prem. I've got a soft spot for Palace as I went to the same school as Ben Watsons dad, and Sean Scannell knows my son very well as they went to the same school together and are still good pals to this day.

And if Leeds Utd get promotion via the play-offs you'll have plenty more to get excited about next season.

I'd really like to see Leeds get that bit of luck they need to get promoted, because let's face it they haven't had much lately have they. Certainly their fans deserve it and without the 15 point deduction that would have been up there already.

    • I'm guessing that most people with pets would not bring either the pets or fireworks into their day to day conversations, to complain or otherwise. Are you suggesting that only "timid" pets are scared by fireworks? What evidence do you have for that, exactly?  Or are you equating being scared of fireworks with being "timid"? And what about the foxes and other wildlife? Is it ok for them to be scared? Firework noise is not a noise that "comes with normal city living" ! What a very strange thing to say! Are you one of the people who have been constantly letting off fireworks recently? I'm assuming you don't have any pets yourself, or you wouldn't have these opinions, but if you do have pets, please share how they react when they hear loud bangs. Unless they are goldfish, in which case you probably wouldn't be able to tell.
    • Well, I know a lot of people in London with pets and I've never heard any of them complain about fireworks.  Maybe what's not ok is keeping timid animals in a metropolis when they are scared of the noises that come with normal city living.
