Man I hate being wrong. >:D<

Good stuff, just saw the news on my phone whilst in the car, and couldn't remember how quick God's was. 4 mins 33 seconds, can't see that record being beaten anytime soon actually.

Still, Agbonlahor done pretty well!

Whilst we're talking about it,Arsenal fans look away now!!!

Speaking of Arsenal fans, is Atila coming back soon? I know he lost his rag a bit a few times, but generally I found his passion quite impressive!

Good start to the season. Congrats to Hull, commiserations to Stoke, hats off to Newcastle, who frankly didn't look like Newcastle, and well done Sunderland who were a bit unlucky not to grind a draw out of that, Richardson looking good for them (is he on loan or signed?).

If Villa can keep consistency I think they've the makings of a very good side, building on good improvement last year.

Deco looking like signing of the season already, but poor old Pompey, unsettled by rumours of a Redknapp return to Upton Park perhaps? Not sure how I feel about that. He's a great chap and all, but he ran out of ideas at West Ham and don't think a return would suit anyone.

And lastly I loved being proved wrong re Wigan.

I'm not - I just love it when you lose (or draw. ;-)

So who's going to be the new England captain? I'm a thug JT or I forgot to go for my drugs test because I took too many disco biscuits the night before Rio Ferdinand. :-S

Going to the game on Wednesday night - will be interesting to see how we perform following our absence from the Euros.

I'm no fan of Terry or Ferdinand but if I was the sort of lazy-ass English player who needed a captain to motivate me then I would probably go for Terry - he does seem more visibly "bothered" by below-par performances.

(Mind you so does Gallas @ Arsenal and he just seems to annoy everyone else...)

Not sure about keepers being Captain, but James' columns in The Observer every fortnight show a depth missing from most other footballers

    • By now you’ve hopefully seen that our main demonstration against Trump’s state visit is in London on Wednesday. Many of you have also asked, though, about how you can help ‘welcome’ Donald Trump to Windsor when he arrives there tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. So here’s the plan: We’re asking you to come and line Windsor High Street tomorrow in a peaceful, static protest.  Time: 6pm, Tue 16 Sept Location: Assemble outside Windsor Parish Church, High St, Windsor SL4 1LS and then spread out along the High Street. Grab some cardboard and a pen and make a homemade sign to show Donald Trump and his supporters what you think of them!  The world’s media will be in Windsor to cover the state visit, so showing visually that he is not welcome will send an important message far and wide. If you are coming then please join this Signal chat group for important updates.     Protest safety Please buddy up and come with someone else You have a right to peacefully demonstrate, but we are expecting a high police presence. Remain non-violent and non-confrontational, and do not talk to the police. It may be better to dress inconspicuously, not like an ‘activist’ We plan on ending at 7.30pm. Please leave in groups of 5–10 and make sure you have a bust card This action is entirely legal but we still recommend that you read this key advice when going on a protest to know your rights. Remember:  No comment No personal details Ask ‘under what power?’ No duty solicitor Don’t accept a caution Here is the protest support line: 07946 541 511 and here is more information on Stop & Search under the Public Order Act.   Thank you for being part of the movement against Trump. In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
