Setanta. What a farcically run company they are. After failing to find any high street retailer that had the widely advertised subscription packs(3 Branches of Argos, 3 Maplins, 4 Tescos etc), we subscribed online. 3 Weeks later and I still havent seen a football kicked in anger. Rubbish service. :-S

Thanks to England my chest hurts today, as I spent most of the match not watching it whilst smoking outside the CPT. I admire Jah's loyalty, as he watched most of it, in the futile hope of it picking up a bit!


Anyway, what are we worried about, we have Wes Brown, saviour of English football. SA here we come! :-S

T'wasn't all that bad, as I didn't have to pay for anything. AND before anyone asks I didn't miss minute of the game and stayed in the stands at half time. (I did have prawns before the match though :-$)


LadyGooner - no charity shield? Or do you not think you'll make it? ;-)


I've been to two friendlies and one proper competition (v Russia) at the new Wembley now. The Euro qualifier was a lot better as it meant something, but I certainly won't be nominating myself for another friendly.

      Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
