Jah Lush
He might be a scummer ratty but the boy done good. When you put on an England shirt it doesn't matter who you play for you're playing for England now and that's all that counts. What an unexected and fabulous result. Well pleased, long may the improvement continue.Watched the second half of the game in a very packed CPT. Now that the Mag now longer does the footy the place was even more packed than ever. A very good atmosphere though and the small amount of staff that were on coped very well with such a big extra demand and considering they had the pub quiz on in the other bar too, so a big thumbs up to them.(tu) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/147/#findComment-132343 Share on other sites

Peckhamgatecrasher
I'm just watching yesterday's highlights. Keef
Liverpool 2 v 1 Man Utd (this is probably wishful thinking without Gerrard & Torres, but we are due a win against them!)Blackburn 2 v 1 Arsenal Fulham 2 v 0 Bolton Newcastle 1 v 0 Hull City Portsmouth 2 v 2 Middlesbrough West Brom 1 v 2 West Ham Wigan 2 v 0 Sunderland Man City 2 v 2 Chelsea Stoke City 0 v 2 Everton Tottenham 2 v 2 Aston Villa Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/147/#findComment-132550 Share on other sites
Jah Lush
I think Gerrard will be playing tomorrow but it's come a bit too early for Torres. Rierra will probably make his debut on the wing too. In fact there will be quite a few interesting debuts tomorrow including Berbatov for Man Utd. What's the betting he scores on his debut? Also Robinho against Chelsea and Pavlyuchenko for Spurs against Aswton Villa. Also, can Gianfranco Zola inspire a win for West Ham against the Baggies. Should be a very interesting weekend for the Premiership and I'm looking forward to Match Of The Day on Saturday night. Keef
I'll bloody miss it, playing at a wedding somewhere near Norwich, going to be a horrificly long day, home approx 4am! :(You're probably right about Gerrard, just hope he's not being pushed to play too soon! Definitely shouldn't risk Torres, hamstrings are not to be messed with!!! Could be Keane's opportunity to shine.I am looking forward to seeing this Pavlyuchenko too. Mark Lawrenson says he fancies him as a player, but worries that he needs a lot of chances to convert to goals. Jah Lush
Another possible debutant of course could be Robbie Fowler - or God to you Liverpool fans. I'd love it if he came on and scored the winner against the Arsenal. Ladygooner
Jah - wash that filth out of your mouth! Blackburn to beat Arsenal - no way! Keef - Torres and Gerard both "fit" to play tomorrow apparently. Jah Lush
Aha, thought that might wake up a Gooner or two. I can dream can't I? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/147/#findComment-132614 Share on other sites
Keef
I would honestly rather Torres miss tomorrow than risk his hamstring! Hopefully he is fit, in which case Spain can be pretty annoyed, but if not 100% then don't play him. Just think Michael Owen! Peckhamgatecrasher
Go for it. I was on the train back from Cheltenham Festival once and Jamie Moralee and Andy May were in my carriage. Finally plucked up the courage to say how much I enjoyed watching them the night before and they were darlings - I even got a kiss from them. You will kick yourself if you don't say something.
