I think forward roll is dignifying it a bit. Let's call it what it is, a rubbish roly poly.

Yeah - I really feel for them :-S

SL aren't a bad team. Reckon they'll do well this season.

Simon is just brimming with Yorkshire pride all around today I would imagine. And the Owls lost heavily so he couldn't be happier

I've missed Match(es) of the Day this weekend so just read about Liverpool's comeback yesterday - wicked stuff. Definitely look like a more solid proposition this year - and if(when) Arsenal don't win it, I would love it to be Liverpool

After the blip at Fulham, I thought that successive wins on away trips to bogey teams up North, Asrsenal would have a great season but it's looking like we just don't have "it" yet. It's very early days but something would need to change for us to challenge1

I've said it before but after the weekend I'll say it again - Roy Keane continues to impress as a manager. Not just for getting results but the way he is handling himself in interviews - a far cry from 10 years ago. I read he is sniffing after Viera as well..

Looks like our title hopes ended too ;-P

Maybe next season *coughs into hand*

Cracker of a last goal from Bolton though. green won't be staying in the England squad long if he carries on like that, I can see Zola giving him another taste of a drop from the first team.

Yeah, great comeback by liverpool, could have been more frankly, but I did feel a bit sorry for Man City, I rather like old Sparky.

Liverpool may have benefitted from the red card, but it was a clear red, and he had to go. Nice to see the fighting spirit to come back, and especially good after Chelsea eased past Villa, which I thought would be a sterner test for them.

Green had a shocking game, but hopefully that'll be a on off...

Exactly so! Since losing 6-0 to Arsenal we have won 3 in a row and climbed 11 places in the table. No game this weekend of course - shame really! - but the game the following weekend is away to W*dn*sd*y & live on Sky....

    • I can't access the article - what's the gist?  I took the markets getting jittery when she was crying at PMQs to be a sign that they trusted her. But maybe it was because they were simply worried about any form of instability.  The NIC hikes have stymied the economy, which we could all see a mile off. Will a wealth tax improve things? Does anyone here think the trickle down has any impact and that chasing out the super rich will help things? Or are we just seeing off the biggest contributors to the economy? And has the Kwasi approach ever worked anywhere else?  Economics is not my strong point at all, I'd love to know others' opinions, but it seems to be she has few options, especially as the party is so divided.
    • does either of them have a surgery? probably not over summer, but I thought they had to give the opportunity for their constituents to meet them.
    • MaryT, I’ve contacted the Dulwich Hill councillors several times in recent years, always copying them both in. I have never had an acknowledgment from Jon Hartley (not even an automated response or out-of-office) nor had any response or engagement from him regarding the issue raised.   On each occasion, only Maggie Browning responded (she uses an out-of-office if she is away). The last time, I received no response from either for 3 months, until Maggie Browning emailed me to apologise for not responding and asking if the problem had been resolved.
    • The  Kwasi effect is being considered.
