Excellent LG. Taking points off Chelsea. Thanks for that. And a good result for us if a stupid sending off. This time of year is always interesting and I cant wait for Christmas especially with Torres looking almost as fragile as Stevie G when there's an international friendly on the horizon and Scolari making sure 'fortress Bridge' looks a bit crumbly.

Ronaldo's sending off was bizarre wasn't it. Maybe the ref would have been kinder if Ronaldo hadn't done th sarcy clapping thing when he got booked the first time. Not just saying that because he's Man U, I hate when players get cheeky like that, I would have shown a second yellow for that, and I'd say the same if it was a Liverpool player.

Great resul for Arsenal. Blatantly offside goal though. Agree with whoever it was on MOTD2 who said he should be having a go at the linesman, not the ref.

Oh well, fair play hammers, from the bbc website it sounds like you were trying to score on the counter at the end rather than just defending, so good on ya.

As for Liverpool, this is the second time we have failed to take advantage of Chelsea dropping points. Okay, so we are 1 point up, but not really feeling reassured...

3 clean sheets in a row!! wow.

Collins has been huge and Upson class, and nice to see Green getting a bit of consistency back again.

Ok, we're not showing much ambition going forward at the moment, but good to get the basics right again and hopefully we can build from here.

Mid-table obscurity here we come!!!

I agree about the sarcastic clapping. It was stupid and immature and I thought he'd get sent off for it. Great result last night. We are getting to that nitty gritty part of the season where we see who's got what it takes. From what I read about last night Keane is struggling and with Torres out I wonder how much strength Liverpool have got both physically and mentally. Of course I'd rather see Chelsea win the league than Liverpool...hell I'd rather see Arsenal win it but I've got a funny feeling we are going to come out the other side of Christmas looking rosy....there, that's cursed it.

    • Simply, give us a snap election now as the last 12 months in office honestly have not been great in any sense. Let someone else have a go at turning around UK plc before it's too late. At least the last administration had the inflation and unemployment going in the right direction at the END.
    • Yes but what's the answer, Jazzer? No government can simply walk in and fix the economy - get the bills down, grow it and reduce debt. There is no silver bullet. The public (and the press) wants everything now, everything cheaper, but with better public services and lower taxes.  In the radio and paper, all you ever hear is pundits, MPs, think tanks and economists saying what won't work, but no one seems to know what will work.  I'm genuinely interested to hear what other views people have on here, and what they think will help, or make things worse.
    • While they struggle with economics of UK plc, collectively we all suffer as a result of their ineptitude.
    • I’ve tried to find details of surgeries being held before but not found any. The section of the Southwark website that details councillors’ surgeries says that: Your locally elected Councillors will be holding a roving surgery programme in the Dulwich Hill area to enable residents to raise any local issues. Residents will be notified by letter in advance of the date, time and specific streets/roads where the surgery will take place.  Surgeries are not held in August, on Bank Holidays, Easter or in Christmas Week.  Dulwich Hill Ward Councillors I’ve never seen any notification of surgeries being held, including on the DH councillors’ social media accounts. I don’t know if any other residents of Dulwich Hill have? Neighbouring wards all seem to have times and places posted for surgeries.
