I couldn't agree more especially the bit about their fans. They're certainly the noisiest whenever they come to White Hart Lane. They have a couple of drummers and a guy with a bell and they never stop for 90 minutes. Brilliant away support.

John "Portsmouth Football Club" Westwood, is the fella with the bell. Quite a few of the lads who work in our Farnborough office are from Pompey and they know him quite well. He is quite a celebrity from what I can gather.

I was sat quite close to him for England v Russia game at Wembley and to be honest he did my head in, but he's good for rousing a crowd. :))

Agreed, I'd be the same Ratty but each to their own.

I don't think he'd be tolerated for long in the Kop. There is loads of stuff going on behind the scenes about how support should be shown but that's another story. Some of it makes sense, but some of it is ridiculous.

Now that is ridiculous. I hope they've got tickets for the match though, with or without their drums as they are true supporters who go to every game.

Ticket details are coming out some time between tomorrow and next week according to our illustrous CEO. There will not be as many as for the semi's so it's gonna be a problem for some to get hold of them although I am sure the band will have no problems.

Interestingly, in the days not too far back when Pompey were in big trouble financially, when Milan Mandaric took over, John PFC Westwood and a few others purchased lifetime season tickets. LIFETIME!!!! for two grand!!

How's that for a deal????

The big question is will ratty get a final ticket?

BTW two lasses in Pompey get up were seen roaming the streets of East Dulwich by my wife after the semi final on Saturday! So, me and Big Tony are not the only Pompey fans in the area!!

The 12th man that Liverpool refer to was obviously present at the first leg of the Champs League quarter final and during the league game last week, he's called the referee. Two stone clad penalties not given to us, no wonder Le boss gets the hump. Oh well, come on Barca!!!!! Sorry, can't have Chavski, Man Ure, or pool winning the Champs League. I bet that will go down well with Forumites. If I sound bitter it's beacuse I f**king am. Now I know how Mourhino felt!!
Was wondering when you'd show up Atila. Can't comment on hue league match as I didn't see it, and I've said already that you should have had the penalty in the first leg. But you have to admit it was a hell of a match in the second leg! Fully agree that Man U or Chelsea winning it would suck, but I shall be praying for a Liverpool victory over Barca in the final... One can but dream. They're not the team they were, and I have a very nasty feeling about Man U this year!

    • In just two days, we’ll take to the streets to show Donald Trump that he and his politics are not welcome here. On Saturday the global far-right mobilised their biggest protest for decades. We want to show that supporters of Trump and fascism are not the majority – far from it. Here are all the details you need for the day. The march assembles at Portland Place, near the BBC, at 2pm (see assembly blocs below). After speeches here, the march will move off at 3pm. It will then march down Regent St, through Piccadilly Circus, on Whitehall (past Downing St) to our rally at Parliament Square. The rally at Parliament Square will begin around 5pm and finish at 7pm. If you can’t make it to the march, feel free to join the rally after work! (Nearest tube: Westminster). The short, accessible version of the route assembles at the top of Whitehall (SW1A 2DY) at 4.30pm to march to Parliament Square for 5pm. You may also prefer to just join the rally directly at Parliament Square.  Join a bloc – and make friends! Our movement is diverse, and various elements are forming ‘blocs’ on the march to emphasise their visual presence collectively. You can join these blocs or form up behind them:   A) Palestine, near BBC, W1A 1AA B) Climate, W1B 1NS C) Amnesty, around junction with New Cavendish St, W1B 1LU D) Migrants' rights, W1B 1LS E) Jewish bloc, W1B 1QQ F) Ukraine, around junction with Weymouth St, W1B 1JL G) Europe, W1B 1NR More stewards still needed Stewards are a crucial part of keeping the protest safe for everyone to participate. They are a visible point of contact for attendees who may need directions or other assistance. Experience of stewarding is useful but it's also fine if you haven't done it before. You will be issued with a hi-vis jacket and briefed in advance and on the day.  Sign up to be a steward Staying comfortable on the day The demonstration lasts for several hours, so we suggest you should:     Bring a bottle of water and snacks (and eat beforehand)     Charge your phone fully the night before, and bring a portable charger if you can     Go to the loo beforehand (really!)     Buddy up with someone, or stick together as a group – it can be hard to find people easily if people wander off     Coming alone? Protests can be a great place to meet like-minded people. If you feel unsure, you can always talk to a steward     Consider the weather: bring a waterproof jacket or wear suncream where necessary     Wear comfortable clothes and footwear, and use our accessible route if you need to (see above) Bring your friends and family on Wednesday. Let’s make this massive! In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
