Had this come through to me and as I don't qualify thought I'd pass on....

Would you be interested in dying your hair blonde as part of an Easy Living promotion?

Or alternatively do you know of anyone you can recommend? It is a sandy, natural blonde rather than bright.

We are looking for 3 women based in the London area and within the age bracket 30-50 years old. They will need to be available to have their hair dyed on Monday the 19th and attend a shoot on the 20th July.

Suitable candidates will have shoulder length (or longer) blonde or light brown/mousey hair,it can be pre-lightened however not snow white. Dark brown hair, especially dyed will be unsuitable unfortunately.

If you're interested please reply with a photo and a few words about yourself at [email protected]

(please send as large a photo as possible so we can see the all important hair!).

I've been blonde recentlyish....led to my favourite ever comment at Immigration

Stern Aussie immigration officer looking at my passport photo - sensible cut, dark hair; and me, spikey bleached crop.

"So sir, do blondes have more fun?"

I came back with "Not when my mum sees me", which I thought was 6/10

I would say that it's for an advertorial in Easy Living for a blonde hair colourant. Whoever does it will get a makeover, have their hair dyed and appear in the magazine, probably talking about how they never knew blonde could look so natural...

    • is anyone getting rid of one or something similar?   thanks
    • ?????? I have read through this thread and I am totally bemused. It had previously seemed to be a helpful thread, and I  don't want to send it any more off topic. Could someone (or admin) please PM me if they think I have stepped out of line and explain why, as recent comments seem to be directed at me and have nothing to do with the subject of the thread. This is a forum, and as in real life people are all  different, with different personalities and sensitivities, and react in different ways,  but the direction this thread has taken is very disappointing. ETA: If the two previous posters want to discuss the points they have made which aren't relevant to the subject of the thread, perhaps one or both of them could start a new thread or threads in the lounge?
    • Please lmk if you have one for sale. Thanks
    • I totally agree with jazzer having been “jumped on” by various members.. I try and help as that is the sort of person I am, but now will try hard  to just read and not reply.. was down right hurtful to have a comment made along the lines that as I was no longer as person supposed, in ED and moved somewhere else should just leave group. No longer sure what sort of people are on this group - certainly not as pleasant as it was 15 years  ago when people were pleasant, helpful and some things were a joke and much more  light hearted. Everyone has a right to their own opinion as it is a public forum- meaning anyone can join from where-ever but c maybe I have got that wrong as well / doesn’t matter as I will probably leave…
