Jess85
Since we will be stuffing ourselves with roasts and buffets the whole of Christmas week, I'm thinking of booking a nice Italian for Christmas eve lunch.Any good recommendations? What is Il Mirto like ?Thank you! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/128609-christmas-eve-lunch-italian/ Share on other sites

MissDumpling
Agree that Artusi is very good. Also local; Four Hundred Rabbits, new pizzeria in Nunhead looks good particularly since they serve Gelupo gelato which points to very good taste!Up in town, Boca di Lupo in Archer Street or Latium in Berners Street would be my two top picks. Jess85
Thank you! Sorry, I should have clarified in the West/East Dulwich area! I've been to the four hundred rabbits in Crystal Palace which I enjoyed! Bickers
I'd second Artusi - the best Italian locally I think. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/128609-christmas-eve-lunch-italian/#findComment-1064452 Share on other sites

Growlybear
Le Querce in Brockley Rise is always good, and they have the most wonderful unusual selection of ice creams. I'm not normally a lover of ice cream, but some of the flavours, like chilli, are impossible to resist. It's a nice, traditional restaurant and we've never had a bad meal there.
