So which one are you buying? The Snuggie is totally minature, the Freedom is almost two feet shorter, and the Blankoat needs a bank loan!

What's the name of those fabulous Egyptian big nighty things. A word sounding like jellabears or something.

Had one of them once, working for Professors of Egyptian studies. They'd be good, made out of fleece. Holes in all the right places.

Damn I am being lazy today too, DJKQ!

Yeah I know what you mean about writing, I'm getting a fair bit done meself, on here lol.

In fact I think I can safely say that it is the forum that has kept me in bed today.....where I have now been joined by a glass of Perri and a bag of peanuts >:D<

Didn't see GMTV tho.....were they good? Mr Childs and Ms Bleakley?

W**F

Same situation this morning; simply can't get up.

Except to make coffee of course.

BUT, the difference is, apart from checking emails and EDF and BBC News, I am full of need to write and am now off to the other side of the bed to do so....! Yayy! Very productive AND in bed with a purring cat at my feet. Thinking of buying that coffee filter machine on offer in the For Sale section so I don't actually have to get up and go to the kitchen.

    • I'm glad you are making good use of your car, but bemused how you are saving on petrol by only half filling every 3-4 weeks? Unless this prevents you using the car as often as you would like, surely you would use just the same amount of petrol, and spend the same amount of money, if you filled it up completely every 6 - 8 weeks? Have I missed something here?

    • Would Leon install a new double oven? Our eye level double oven was installed when we had our kitchen installed around 20 years ago and will need to be replaced with similar. I think we had 2 people to install it then - so does Leon work alone?
    • My car was registered in 2004. Automatic, ULEZ compatible.  Used to use it daily for work until 2016 when retired. Still used 3-5 days weekly after that as was doing voluntary work. My mobility has gradually declined and  it is painful to walk.. Family live in Kent, Essex and Sussex - so need car to visit them. My car battery is 2 years old - when had to call out RAC to assist at home as it was dead, they found it was the original battery installed in 2004!! My car is essential - shopping each week, being able to go to garden centres, or DIY stores, taking the cat to the vet and  other social activities. I now only half fill with petrol every 3- 4 weeks, so save that way. I am careful  with my finances and would be lost without the car. It is regularly maintained (Turners).
