Afternoon all

I am proud to be mooving to ED in the next couple of weeks. My g/f and i have found a lovely house just off Barry Rd.

I wanted to ask people (and please, if this is the wrong place or i offend anyone then do say so) does anyone know where i can obtain cardboard boxes? Ideally i'd like to start moving in drips and drabs (we have no car) so will buss it (am moving from brixton Hill)

anyway, if anyone can help re boxes?!

I have both given and received cardboard boxed for moving in the Wanted section so you should be sorted easily

Hi Chris,

Dulwich Books in West Dulwich on Croxted Road always have boxes in the back of the shop for people to help themselves to. In fact, they have a sign in their shop saying feel free to take them as they obviously have too many. Just FYI.

When I moved house, I went to McDonalds and got loads of their fries boxes, they are perfect for stacking and packing! And free! x

Hello Long boy, I have moved to the Gardens 2 years ago I got some boxes from Tesco Express and Argos sells boxes

One good bit of advice I picked up if you have goldfish. One or two days before moving house, place your goldfish bowl in the ice making compartment of your refridgerator. When the time comes to move you will find that your fish can be transported in a car or van with no danger of spillage.
