The TV themes thread got me thinking about the programmes I used to love as a kid. Was looking through tv.cream.org and found some classics!!!

The summer holiday programmes of my youth (early 70s): White Horses, Robinson Crusoe, the Singing Ringing Tree ....

all crap, but in those days we were too busy playing miles from home, falling out of trees

Animal Magic (great TV theme tune by the way), Get Smart and My Favourite Martian but my all time favourite when I was a kid was Do Not Adjust Your Set which featured future members of the Monty Python team, David Jason and of course the Bonzos Dog Band with the immortal Vivian Stanshall.:))

What about Top of The Pops with Legs & Co? I remember when they changed from something else (can't remember what) to Legs & Co and got to do all kinds of dirty dancing to the latest releases! I loved it, but my mum was always moaning in the back ground saying "what is this rubbish you're watching?".
