Don't be so preposterous ! (apologies to daffy Duck) if there was one and you were being serious then you would know about it - as would everybody else and therefore you wouldn't have to post the question in the first place. Quad est demunstrandum. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it - Anne Elk

Well...this just proves to me me how intolarant East Dulwich is by some of the sarcastic comments on this thread.

Especially as its well known for its gay and lesbian bars and residents but mention a question on venues for trans gendered community it is met by transphobic comments.

Jacky's Jukebox at the Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley, the first Saturday each month is one of the best nights out in London whether you're gay, straight, transexual, transvestite, young or old. Soome glam trannies there and your bog standard blokes in frocks, mixed in with old, straight couples and lots of gay and straight people of all ages.

Almost impossible to describe but a brilliant and cheap night out!

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
