Hhmmm, I'd almost worked up the courage this month (after only six months or so of very occasional posting), but I'm working nights this week. Sorry, maybe next month.

Is that one of those Palindrome pills.....The ones that don't do anything, but make you think they are doing somthing?

I might come along tonight now, but only stay for a couple as I have a 6am start.....I should be easy to spot....all will become apparent.

Can I go now? My tolerance for contrived corporate bllsht is close to breaking point. I may not make it tonight as I will have been dragged off to the loony bin for inflicting grievous bodily with a laptop and a pack of postit notes.

Roll right trouser leg up if a chap.

Dangle handbag upside down from left elbow if a lady.

Upon meeting suspected fellow forumer, promptly spin thrice widdershins while reciting: snorky snorky belly and bum!

Or, yunno, just say something along the lines of: hello, you from the forum? We're a pretty easy bunch to spot, by and large, just cos we're usually the biggest group in the place.

(I say 'we', but I won't be there myself tonight. Hmph.)

Myself and my husband will be going this evening so if you remember me from fixing the idiots PC, I'll help you out

Errrmmmm what if you are not a girly girl & dont have a handbag??? Is there a dress code at the GC, my work colleagues said it has recently been gentrified so can I get away with smart jeans & trainer type shoes???

Looking forward to meeting you all, although a tad nervous :-$

Cheers Giddy Gecko

    • I just got this from ai in browser: Block Foxholes For Planting To block foxholes when planting, start by securing the perimeter of your garden, as foxes can dig under fences or through gaps.  Install L-shaped mesh footings at the base of fences to prevent them from burrowing underneath.  For specific planting areas, use wire mesh or a plastic mesh like DigStopper Prickle Strips laid over the soil to create a physical barrier that deters digging.  These mesh solutions are effective for protecting bulbs, seedlings, and flowerbeds, and can be cut to fit various shapes.  Additionally, covering the planted area with a layer of gravel or sharp-edged stones can make the surface uncomfortable for foxes to dig through.
    • Has anyone else experienced bites lately? I've been bitten for the last 5 evenings at home & have no idea why? No one else seems to be affected at home which is good news but it's really getting frustrating. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? It always seems to be around 7pm as if it's dinner time & I'm on the menu.
