katie1997
Forgive me, but what's lecherous about slipping a woman a bit of meat? I'm being serious, too.I think its all in the timing, depends if its been 'done' for 45 seconds or 45 minutes. I'm being serious too. Guest
Right now I'd settle for a decent cup of tea. I'm having one of those colds where you have to change the tissue mid-blow. katie1997
No, as Valentine's Day is a load of old cobblers what with all that forced 'romance'. Although today wasn't all bad, the guy who was browsing for cards (yes, Valentine's ones) in the shop on North Cross Road, at the same time as me this morning, was kinda nice...PS - WTII? :-SKatie :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15782-do-you-celebrate-valentines-or-not/page/2/#findComment-411031 Share on other sites
fyvum
Jeez, I thought 30-40 seconds was stretching it a bit !! Tells every woman on the forum a lot about you (Said the queen)no substitute for a young stiff beau with a penchant for throwing his woman to the ground and having his wicked way for a good thirty or forty seconds because you deserve it! I can't think of anything more repulsive (Said the queen)Queeny these answers of yours, says it all! womanofdulwich
I was in the bar humbug camp - but i had 12 rede roses delivered to work with chocolates today. I have been with the man for 25 years, and it is the first time he has ever done this. IT was absolutely fabulous- I was a bit embarrassed on the tube- but then I realised there were a lot of people looking at me and the flowers and I thought "bloody marvellous". Probably wont happen again, but it made me feel great- especially as he is working away.:)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15782-do-you-celebrate-valentines-or-not/page/2/#findComment-411065 Share on other sites

The Minkey
My brother once collected a heap of snowy white pebbles off the beach to write 'I love you' on the strip of grass outside his girlfriend's bedroom window. That's a proper Valentine :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15782-do-you-celebrate-valentines-or-not/page/2/#findComment-411075 Share on other sites

Moos
Seems to me those that say 'I don't do Valentine's Day, it's commercial nonsense' better have a rock-steady record in spontaneous non-commercial unreminded romantic efforts for their loved ones.A thoughtful message in a card is a lovely thing even if not anonymous.Still, it's not really celebrating Valentine's Day if you're not surreptitiously getting married under threat of death.
