Hello Everyone,

I'd love to join you in the park on 17th July and for any other meet-ups meanwhile! I'm due on 5th September, this is my first baby and we're at King's.

Do add me to the list [email protected]

Great to 'find' you all here!

Hello Everyone

I'm sneaking myself into this group as my EDD from my LMP was 2nd Sept but got changed at the scan to Aug 28th! I'm sure it will be September though... :-S

I've sent my email to join the distribution list too.

Hi everyone,

This sounds like a fab idea. Well up for 17 July meet plus any weekly picnics etc because I've also got a 16 month old and am due in September.

My email is [email protected]. I'll email the lass who is kindly coordinating addresses too.

Lovely jubbly,

Eilidh (Hailey without the H)

hello!

I'm due mid-November with my 2nd (1st is 13 months) and would also love to join you all on July 17th. I'm working but have wednesdays off so if anyone fancies a coffee anywhere in the SE22/SE15 area anytime, would be lovely to meet up.

My email address is [email protected]

Hope everyone is feeling ok.

See you in July if not before.

Megano I feel for you! I've suffered terribly with morning sickness (nausea and being sick lots) this pregnancy and last. I'm now 18 weeks and I think it's gone *touch wood* which is about when it passed last time. However like ae I start to feel sick if tired or hungry. Very hard to prevent tiredness with toddler around though! On a more positive note once morning/noon/night sickness was over in my first preg I felt great and continued to do so until the end. Not started feeling great this time yet though...
Thanks so much for the tips. I have to say, one thing that got me through is thinking about people who felt so bad and were looking after another child at the same time! I have much respect! Polos seem to help with the nausea, they are my new favourite thing! thanks x

Hi everyone

Great to see so many autumn mums-to-be up for meeting up! I'm due my second towards the end of November (my first is almost a year -eek!), would love to meet up with others, particularly glad to see that I'm not the only one going to have two very little ones under two. Up for meeting up in July, will pm my email to join the distribution list.

Keep well everyone x

Hi Ladies

At the risk of hijacking this thread, I'm posting to see if anyone's interested in having some free pregnancy pics done. A forumite posted in the spring babies club about a hobby-photographer who was looking for pregnant women to photograph for his Royal Photographic Society portfolio. It sounded interesting so I got in touch with him and had a couple of sessions done. I should warn you that the photos are mostly done nude, but not exclusively so. I came out with some lovely images that I didn't have to pay anything for (apart from losing my dignity!). He is very nice chap who is professional and discrete. His wife is in the house while the photos are being taken, and Mr Yak came along at the start to check that nothing dodgy was going on.

He's looking for more models so if you are interested, PM me and I'll pass on your details. I'd be happy to email you a picture of me or provide more details if you'd like before making contact with him.

Apologies for the hijack once again, and best of luck with the rest of your pregnancies!

Hi all, hope everyone is feeling great and doing really well. Luckily my nausea and tiredness seems to have gone for now and I've been acting like a woman possessed trying to get stuff organised. That said, I haven't even tackled the question on which buggy to get - a minefield I'm delaying for as late as possible. There's quite a lot of threads on EDF so I'm sure I'll be trawling through that in a few months....

Back to important business...picnic on 17th July - people have been sending me their email addresses which is great. I'll get an email out in a few weeks so we can start organising this.

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend (fingers crossed for some nice weather!)

xx

    • Where did I say he did a good job? Yup and Corbyn was very close to Len McCluskey and funded by Unite wasn't he...they're all as bad as each other... Labour have to purge their party of the far-left - they're a disaster. Allan Johnson summed it up so well on election night in 2019....
    • Thank you for the detailed advise @trinidad It is definitely damage we are concerned about. I don’t think Evri would agree to pay the bill to fix our gate or letter box if they were to be damaged as a result of their delivery drivers helper. Our doorbell can be heard from outside when rung so we don’t quite believe the aggressive simultaneous door/letter box banging is necessary. It can be quite a shock it is done very aggressively.  I’ll definitely action the steps you’ve kindly provided along with a phone call tomorrow. I do sympathise with the role drivers have and how busy they are, which is why we tried communicating directly with her but sadly we haven’t succeeded
    • What outcome would you like? Disciplinary action? Not to have the driver back? Retraining? I know there is alot of pressure on drivers to deliver within a set day. if he slams the gate, is it evidence he is causing damage, or is the noise a irritant to yourself? You could put a sign up or buy a signing asking to close the gate gentle???? can you hear the door bell from the door? he might be ringing, not hearing and therefore knocking. In trhe notes section of the be livery page, there is a note section, although there is not 100 per cent these notes would be read as these drivers are constantly rushing.  I did a google search for you, i found this and you can try the envri website Contact Us | Evri   To complain to Evri, you can follow these steps: Contact Customer Service: Call Evri's customer service at 0330 808 5456 for assistance with your complaint.    1 Write a Letter: Address your complaint to Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH.    1 Use the Official Website: Visit the Evri complaints page on their official website for detailed instructions on how to submit a complaint.    2 Email or Call for Specific Issues: For issues like missing or damaged parcels, you can email or call 0800 988 8888, which is free to call.    1 These methods will help you effectively communicate your concerns to Evri.   My driver is called anthony, he is brilliant to be honest. I cant fault him.
    • When I have more time and energy, I will look up the actual number of votes cast for each party in that election, rather than the number of seats won. I'm interested to see that you apparently  think that  Boris Johnson did a good job of "leading the country through Covid." Is your memory really that short? I won't stoop to calling Johnson and his cronies names in the way that you seem to think is appropriate for left wing politicians. At least the left wing politicians have some semblance of morals and a concern for people who aren't in some over privileged inner circle and/or raking in money for themselves on the back of an epidemic. I'm not going to open a can of worms on here  by commenting on the disgraceful so called "purge".
