The people who run the library and have to put up with more than their share of rudeness, antisocial behaviour and ingratitude for their efforts keeping this fantastic community resource going.

The lovely Italians in La Scala cafe near ED station. A magical place. They were a refuge to me while I waited to move. It was like being in an episode of 'Cheers', where everybody knows your name. A truly personal service. Oh how I miss it up here in Shropshire.

Yes, AJ Farmers - that and Dulwich DIY are the shops that really make you feel like you're living in a proper community.

Yes it is - yes! I forgot the Plough DIY, best key cutting service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and the large window with taps and showers is like a Tate Modern installation, although I think they are moving ??
