Can we all contribute? Drs Roe, Iu, Ackland, and the others at the Nunhead Surgery. And the team who work at Peckham Rye Park to make it look as fab as it does, as well as the volunteers who work in the Community Wildlife Garden ;)

Yes please do!

The lovely Italians in La Scala cafe near ED station. A magical place. They were a refuge to me while I waited to move. It was like being in an episode of 'Cheers', where everybody knows your name. A truly personal service. Oh how I miss it up here in Shropshire.

the endlessly patient, tolerant and knowledgeable pharmacists and staff in the wonderful Lloyds Pharmacy on NCR - thank you !

the happy and philosophical Jamaican road sweeper who I pass on NCR/LL,

all staff at The Gardens, so civilised

East Dulwich Dry Cleaners for efficiency, high standards, cheerfulness and occasional cheeky response

the tall Big Issue seller, now moved to Sainsbury near the Library, a man of gentle persuasion

Yes, all Library staff, Alex and Scarlett especially, always courteous and helpful

AJ Farmers !!! they should be open 24 hours - know where everything is, even when it is filed under something completely different

Market Stall and Van regulars on Saturday NCR, and Linda with her cabinet of curiosities

there must be more ...

We’re open today till 23rd December and sell vintage/antique goods - but also sell local art and ceramics, absolutely perfect for Christmas presents! We’re at 3 Upland Road and will be very merry this week, we may when bring some mulled wine in to bring some extra cheer. hope to see you there, Rachel & Conrad
    • Have they had a bit of a 'falling out'?.
    • I've seen my cat many times walk straight past a fox, at less than half a metre separation. both animals ignored each other.
    • The young ones can bite car tyres around this time of year - I assume they do it for the thrill of the hiss or something like that.  We had a spate of damaged tyres and thought it was a disturbed person or at a stretch an environmental protestor taking it too far, but caught a fox on a house camera.
