Am trying to call the council but can't get though. Ridiculous an event of this kind is allowed to run in a residential area!!

Wow - I'm guessing this is what I can hear and I'm at the top end of Upland Road and Lordship Lane! It must be insanely loud for people living closer by!

This is just unbearable, I'd planned a quiet afternoon at home today! I'm on east Dulwich Grove and it's so loud it's ridiculous, surely there are some rules about this, it's been six hours so far and my Sunday is ruined :(

I'm on the St.Francis estate and struggling to hear my TV. So much for a quiet, restful Sunday. Will be getting in touch with the council as this is not the first time.

Just returned from a weekend away to discover this appalling din. Can I urge all those affected to email DHFC to complain? If Southwark won't act and further such events are planned, there are other legal avenues that a little crowd funding could get underway.

I was told by the minders, earlier that the event would finish at 8.00pm and the council said to ring back if they didn't finish at that time.

Hi we were told 7.00 by the Council to call back - unfortunately Southwark are not picking up. Derwantgrove we would be happy to join in any effort to have this anti social behaviour put to a stop I wonder if any councillors are reading our posts.

Everyone email the noise team too. They can't/won't log unanswered calls.

Still can't get through. And have heard the use of "f***ing" more than once.

Guess it will have to be an email to DHFC and form to southwark

Filled in the Southwark Council noise form as I can't get through on the phone. I will also be emailing DHFC. Derwentgrove, I too would be happy to join any efforts.

I really feel for anybody working nights and trying to sleep through this din.

Hi we finally got through to the Council, again. The guy said they have visited the site again but as the crowds are too big they will not go in to get it stopped we asked who we could speak to help in this matter but he did not know, we asked if perhaps police could help them he was unsure of the procedure. He suggested we write to the Council. He did confirm he had lots of complaints. Arhhhh

Managed to get through. Advised to call the police. Not sure if that's right though as seems to be the noise teams role surely?!?

I live just off Greendale, my house is shaking as are my nerves...!!

On hold to the council noise line...either they are very busy or only have one person working tonight...! Will persevere.

Had a very prompt response off Chris and he's assured me they are doing all they can to put a stop to it (and that it won't be happening again). Does seem to have quietened down for now...

Just spoke to the council noise team for the 6th time today. Despite earlier assurances that visits were to be made and noise tests undertaken, now we are told there is nothing they can do. They apparently cautioned them this afternoon but supposedly have not receive any calls since 4 o clock. We know this is not true. Last week the police said that the noise team were our only option, and now the noise team are saying if a conversation cannot happen in a person's living room, only then they can take action. This is a subjective test, not a machine.Otherwise they can only ask that they turn the volume down.

The club needs to take responsibility for allowing the events. They were apparently sent a warning letter by the council last week, clearly to no effect.

Looking at their social media their main events happen in indigO2 or other similar locations so this is a bit crazy. I live just the other side of st Olaves field, I dread to think what the noise is like in the cul de sac, even Sainsbury's car park. I'm fine with noise, I'm fine with parties, we have Dulwich hamlet noise every weekend, I expect noise in London but this is epic proportions. It's almost like living in Glastonbury! My house is still shaking. Cannot believe at all that this can be allowed in a residential area. The swearing and cussing is loud aswell as it's being blared over the PA. it's kids bedtime in 5 minutes and this doesn't sound it's going to stop st 8, if it does we will probably have a lot of shouting and screaming coming along greendale towards our house too. Fun times!

Right I just got through and was told the following.

The noise officers have been twice, and on the second visit have had to withdraw due to safety concerns which is very concerning living so close.

He said there was nothing further to be done tonight. He recommended to email [email protected] which I will do alongside the other avenues.

Not really affecting me - glad I live out of earshot - but just walked home through Greendale and could not believe the racket, can't understand why that sort of sound system is allowed at this time on a Sunday evening. Those living nearby have my sincere sympathy.

I've also emailed the noise team. Suggest everyone who has had their day ruined do the same as I was told they are due back next weekend...

I live on the far end of Peckham Rye Park by Harris girls school and it was audible through closed double glazing.

Have any of you who live by been over to challenge them ?

20:50 and the noise goes on. I'm not that close to the stadium, but still can hear it.
