As far as I know, most stewards (if not all) were indeed volunteers and were offered free training - I know I was.

I feel quite sad for the stewards who have been affected as, at least one of them, had been volunteering for quite a while. I wonder how they are feeling :(

I didn't know that DH now paid their stewards. In a way that's worse; the stewards have lost paid employment...

Big thanks to Chris and his lot for holding the after party for our girls Baptism on Sunday. Was a lovely day. All the staff were great and I'd recommend looking at booking the space if you are having any type of function.

Big game against Bognor Regis at Champion Hill this afternoon. The first meeting between the clubs since Dulwich beat them in the play off semi-final at their place at the end of last season.

The excellent new outside bar should be in full swing too.

The game tomorrow (Saturday October 21st - 3pm) vs AFC Sudbury is the last at Champion Hill for almost a month.

There will be a poppy appeal collection at the ground by the Royal British Legion as it is the last home match before Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
