Disappointed that the Hamlet's excellent support should be used to disparage support for Jeremy Corbyn (see point 4 of this https://medium.com/@Labour_Pains/13-reasons-not-to-vote-for-jeremy-corbyn-as-leader-of-the-labour-party-11d5656cac88). Might even tip me the other way. Poor analogies can come back and bite you.
The attendances may be up at Champion Hill but we've not yet managed a four figure gate midweek. Fisher have the Monday night slot and boy would they love that sort of gate, rainy or not. Whatever your feelings about Corbyn I doubt any political candidate in this country could attract the sort of attendance for a rally that the author of this article alludes to. Sad really, always have great memories of attending a massed rally for the communists in Bologna that packed out the main piazza with many thousands.

Pseuds Corner anyone?

If you missed yesterday, you didn't miss much, DH took an earlyish lead (apparently a good goal but I only heard the cheer as I walked up through the park) but after that it was pretty uninspiring stuff. Absolutely no width and very Scrappy.

Ref was a total cunt who gave NOTHING our way. Then out of somewhere they added 5 minutes at the end and the bastards equalised with more or less the last kick of the match.

Also gutted to hear that Harry Ottaway has left the club.

Good grief. Reading that Guardian piece makes Hamlet supporters look like completely-up-their-own-arse twunts. What did they do to deserve that?

    • Many years ago, our neighbours were in a Southwark rented property. Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.
    • If you can use it exclusively for yourself for 12 years it might become yours by default under squatters rights? Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
