"Most places in ED have been frequented more than once!"

Yes, but not by the itinerant court that is the forum drinks. We did attempt a list so far before but here goes...

The Mag

The EDT

The CPT

The Drum

The Clock House

The Gowlett

Hoopers

The Plough

The Canning

Possibly in wrong order, have I missed any? A few to go before we've done them all, and some, like Inside 72 may have missed their moment as it's grown since the early days.

The problem with deciding on going to a pub that has a large outside area for smokers is that you will divide the group possibly. I mean, maybe it will just be everyone outside except, who gets ill around smoke. I recommended the Clockhouse above, their food - to quote a character in a Peckhambased TV series - "just keeps getting better and better". :)

Hi Rose - at the last meet in the George Canning there was quite a good drift back and forth between the non smokers inside and the smokers outside. Was a nice warm night tho.Less true in November I spect. Even at the party in the Mag there was a lot of cross over, and that took a couple of minutes to walk form outside to upstairs, more when pissed. take your point about smoking tho, I'm a smoker who only smokes in [or now outside] the pub, and I love the ban! Cafes and restaurants are now so much nicer.

    • Yup Juan is amazing (and his partner can't remember her name!). Highly recommend the wine tastings.  Won't be going to the new chain.
    • I hate cooking and I can't cook. I live on stuff out of the freezer which I cook once every six months. I exaggerate only slightly.
    • Simply, give us a snap election now as the last 12 months in office honestly have not been great in any sense. Let someone else have a go at turning around UK plc before it's too late. At least the last administration had the inflation and unemployment rates going in the right direction at the END.
    • Yes but what's the answer, Jazzer? No government can simply walk in and fix the economy - get the bills down, grow it and reduce debt. There is no silver bullet. The public (and the press) wants everything now, everything cheaper, but with better public services and lower taxes.  In the radio and paper, all you ever hear is pundits, MPs, think tanks and economists saying what won't work, but no one seems to know what will work.  I'm genuinely interested to hear what other views people have on here, and what they think will help, or make things worse.
