just to say that I really enjoyed the Hypnobirthing workshop and would recommend it highly. I had the best night in a very very long time - 9 hours straight! Unheard of. I was woken up by my son calling me from his bed across the room, not sure how long he'd been awake.

Iona I hope it helps you next week!

Hi mooncake, do you know what time it would be Monday 12th. Love to come if I can get back from work in time. And if I'm not working could def host if needed. Thanks for organising and looking forward to seeing all those that can make tomoro night. Laura xx

Yes - on the list:

- bellenden belle & david

- susanjvr & hubby

- me & or hubby (undecided!)

- littlemoo

as its a 3 hr course I think we probably want to start at 630?

Caroline - are you happy to do it at your house? Think that would probably make most sense.

See you later! It's December!!

Xx

It is Dec Sara, we should have an advent countdown to due days too!!

Seems like I've been pregnant FOREVER but actually impending due date seems to have come around suddenly!

I thought I had everything sorted as having another girl... Then realised (after a conversation with another expectant mother) that I don't even have any nappies!

She informed me that amazon sell packs of 108 for ?11 for pampers newborn!! So any other essentials I'm forgetting please remind me!

See all who can make it for pizza and gossip tonight.

Just to let you know that Baby Courage arrived last night! It was fast and furious and all done at home. She weighs in at a surprisingly big 8lbs 13ozs and is still asleep now.... Testament to the sleep seminar or just the calm before the storm??? I'll let you know. Come on Winter Babies. Can't wait to meet the rest of you now...

Lots of love to all xxx

Fab news - well done you!! Hopefully, this is the beginning of many short labours to come! Or at least that's what I'm hoping!!

On a different note, I don't suppose anyone has a pair of black Mama Spanx they'd be prepared to lend me for a wedding I have on this Saturday. I'm only going to be wearing them for a few hours, so didn't really want to spend a whole whack of money schlepping into the City with the crowds if I could avoid it. Totally understand if people would prefer not to lend tights tho!

Congrats again to mothercourage x

Brilliant news indeed!!! Emma I bet your darling daughter no 1 is loving her little sis! Looking forward to finding out the name soon too!

A NCT friend gave birth on Sunday after only a 2 hour labour too... Unplanned home delivery in bath!! So roll on the swift labours!!

Keep us posted of all baby news everyone!!

    • https://www.letslinkuk.net/ I'm interested to know why the OP didn't find this sort of scheme to work, as I would have thought it was much harder to find someone to do a direct exchange with? Does anybody else have experience of a scheme like this? Happy to be persuaded!
    • I personally think is a great idea Bobbly and would love if there was a section for it. I wouldn't offer free gardening under the "for sale" section as I would expect something in exchange and wouldn't expect our cat being looked after for free under the "wanted" section, as an example.
    • Looking for used decking boards. Should be hardwood
    • I have fond memories of Govinda's I used to go there  back in the 90's (maybe earlier) for an affordable tasty lunch..I was wondering if its still around. Now I have to make a point of going there. Does anyone else remember a really affordable basement cafe run by the church in a street off of Golden Square? parallel to Regent Street? I also used to love the Vegetarian cafe on Neal Street in the basement (Neal Street Cafe?) and there was an inczredible inexpensive authentic Japanese resturant I use to go to with my Japanese friends (who introduced me to it) tucked away behind Long Acre where that brown brick modern building ('modern' I think it went up in the 90's!) now stands that fronts Long Acre and Neal Street..I think it was called Asakasa or something?
