Hi all, sorry for silence. Have had back to back visitors and not really had a chance to get on top of emails, meet ups etc. Currently in a bit of a jam, and hoping someone may be able to help! We are currently on holiday, and have extended our stay until Tuesday but totally forgot that we had borrowed a travel pram from a friend of ours and they have promised it to another friend to take to Oz tomorrow for 6-8 weeks!!!!! ?Don't we feel awful! Anyway, we are desparately trying to find someone who would kindly lend or sell a travel pram for their friend to take to Oz, so if any of you know of anyone please let me know. ?Our friend has put an ad on the EDF, so hopefully someone will respond, but if you have any bright ideas, please drop me a line. ?Looking forward to catching up with some of you when i get back

Just walking past swings. I'm assuming we're meeting in enclosed area outside rose garden with the tree trunks and a few picnic tables?

Anyone there yet? We've got a spotty red and white blanket and a plastic dog for ease of recognition!

Hi everyone,


Wondered if anyone fancied going to the Jubilee Big Picnic Celebration on Tuesday at Aquarius Golf Club. It's on Facebook and will paste in description below:


An all afternoon celebration of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee. Loads of space to bring a blanket, and enjoy live music in the great green outdoors of the Aquarius Golf Club. What better way to enjoy the bank holiday! Live music includes local bluegrass/country rebels Country Dirt, and the amazing Steve Boltz & New White Trash.

Finishes at 19.00pm, so you won't be too tired for work on Wednesday!


It starts at 13.00, so I figured it could sort of be the same time as our usual meet. It's local and could be fun. What do you think?

Hey all,


Really looking forward to the Picnic - hold off rain! This is the latest from the organiser:


Today's the day!!!! The rain is definitely arriving sometime it he afternoon, so we're definitely indoors for the live music & fun activities for youngsters. Hopefully the rain will arrive late, and any kids who want to try golf will be able to ahead of the wet weather. See you all there for a brilliant line up of live music, starting around 2.00 pm!!! Let's ROCK the JUBILEE!!!!


So I think it may be a bit more indoor based than originally planned but still looks great. Lou - be great to see Nathan - I've now persuaded Neil to not work today so he'll be coming along too. Hopefully see lots of you there.

Hope you've all enjoyed the Jubilee celebrations!


I've got a 3 1/2 month old (25th Feb) and would love to meet some other mums in the area.


I think I may have met a couple of you at the Nct coffee mornings but would be great to meet up / share

Baby stories etc. on a regular basis.

Are any of you new mummies looking to go back to work soon or thinking about child care ? I am a nanny with child my little boy is 7 weeks old and I am looking to return to work around September time would anyone be interested in meeting up to discuss what I can offer . It's a great way to nanny shear without involving another family I am cheaper than a nanny but a little more than a shear

We tried pushing out to go to the rock on the jubilee at the golf club but got caught out by the rain! boo.. don't forget we are meeting this thursday! if it is a gorgeous day we will be in the picnic area, if not we will be in the Gardens! wooo hoo.. please bring on the sun shine ... needing my tan top up! x

Unfortunatly i cant make thurs either boooo :( have a shopping trip to oxford st yay! But next tues would be great! We usually meet on tues :) i think time varies? Safiyya has vaccinations tomorrow so not looking forward to it :( but this 7th she will be 4 months! Oh how time flys by!

Hi all,

Hope everyone's well and enjoyed the extended weekend (everyday is a weekend for us though right?)

Anyway there are some WBC coming to The House of Tippler for my delayed 30th, engagement and general night out celebration.

Please do come and have a cocktail if you can be released from duties.

I'll be there from 7ish this fri (8th June) and I have reserved the whole back section.

Some of my NCT mum friends will be there too so should we miss our babies too much, there will be new mums to talk to!

Partners obviously also welcome.

Also if anyone is with toddler on Thurs, I'm taking mine to a storyteller session at the new Dish and Spoon cafe on cheltenham rd (near swings end of peckham rye park).


Storyteller is fab and coffee is amazing. ?5 per family from 10:15

      Lexus Stolen On Melbourne Grove

      Hi there, Our Lexus NX300H, (reg RF18BWO) was stolen off our driveway last night, Monday 27th October. It was there at 9pm, and had gone by 7am. If anyone has any footage on their doorbell or Ring, that would be super helpful. We have asked some neighbours and reported to the police etc.  Most upsettingly, there was a box of old family videos in the car boot, in an old Sainsburys box (photo attached). If anyone sees these dumped at the side of the road, please contact me asap! They are priceless videos that my deceased grandparents took. Thank you for any info, Jojo

      Another shout out for Milk & More - their app allows you to alter the order, add or subtract to it and also to schedule holiday stops without having to leave messages in bottle - so more secure. You do have to set up a direct debit with them, but I haven't had any problems with that myself. I have had one or two missed or late deliveries in several years, but not really a problem - only very occasional and caused mainly by delivery-person illness. And very much feels like an old-fashioned milk delivery. They do special seasonal offers as well. More expensive than the cheapest of the super market milk prices, but for that its at your door, fresh and no bother.

      Enjoying the nostalgia and memories.  As with others, we get ours through Milk and More (is part of big co, so there is that against it, but it's hardly a secret/niche thing) - returnable glass bottles of milk, orange juice, yoghurt, and much more besides (as per the name). And yes it comes in the middle of the night in an electric vehicle. So can still get out nostalgia fix, doubled when the Riverford chap comes too.

      This sounds like what goes on at Tessa Jowell GP surgery as well as others.   If you can flag yourself up as a ‘vulnerable’ patient or one that can’t use Apps for whatever reason etc then you can usually make appts by phone. They would have to make allowances. Quote the Equality Act 2010,  reasonable adjustments section.
