The Albert in Coldharbour Lane is not bad.

If you like trad boozers then the Trinity on Trinity Square [a2z at the ready, chaps] takes some beating, and until recently had a classic friendly pub dog.

Isn't the Canterbury alleged to be the pub where Death Metal was invented?

yep i,ll go with the prince albert as well.

Brixtonian - great cocktails, have never been able to figure out the opening hours though. Have found it closed on more than one occasion.

Dogstar - often have good music, good atmosphere, a bit skanky (but in a good way)

Prince Albert - shadow of its former self

Is the Tongue and Groove still there?

    • I just got this from ai in browser: Block Foxholes For Planting To block foxholes when planting, start by securing the perimeter of your garden, as foxes can dig under fences or through gaps.  Install L-shaped mesh footings at the base of fences to prevent them from burrowing underneath.  For specific planting areas, use wire mesh or a plastic mesh like DigStopper Prickle Strips laid over the soil to create a physical barrier that deters digging.  These mesh solutions are effective for protecting bulbs, seedlings, and flowerbeds, and can be cut to fit various shapes.  Additionally, covering the planted area with a layer of gravel or sharp-edged stones can make the surface uncomfortable for foxes to dig through.

No one else seems to be affected at home which is good news but it's really getting frustrating. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? It always seems to be around 7pm as if it's dinner time & I'm on the menu.
