Re Redknapp - some due dilligence findings from the various recent Pompey takeovers also revealled that he was on huge commission on player sales from Pompey -bearing in mind we have sold over ?100m in players in the last year he must have had a good whack.

Tax evasion charge however ALLEGEDLY relates to signing of Papa Diop from Fulham, apparently some money ALLEGEDLY found it's way to Harry's cayman islands account (likewise Mandaric and Storrie) ALLEGEDLY!!!

Re Hart. Thoroughtly decent bloke shoddilly treated by Pompey and now QPR. One of footballs good guys and deserves better!

BTW just bumped into some 'Wall in Lewisham this morning and as I am sporting my colours today I took a little bit of mouth from them, however they assured me that they would, in their words "Do the Scummers" this weekend!

Nice lads, one was a coppper!

Just a tad overly optimistic methinks, even old boy Lawro has this down as a home win. Given that you will be without Gerrard, Benayoun, and Torres, I tend to agree with him.

Villa are a bit up and down at the moment and I think that will continue - they had a good result midweek so now I expect the come down as West Ham put up a bit of resistance and have a go. Minimum of 1 point for the Hammers.

Without the out of form G&T I am expecting Liverpool to play as a team tomorrow - likes of Ngog, Lucas and Babel to be the heroes. Minimum 3 points.

breaking news... hahaha... that's been flying around since the last speculation was exhausted... don't believe everything you read in the papers atila

The entire team looks like it needs a new challenge.. and the best way to do that is not by selling scapegoats. I hope Babel holds his ground and not lets himself be bullied out of the Club (Rafa has reacted to Torres and Gerrard being injured to dropping Babel from squad tomorrow) the way Keane was dumped 12 months ago.

In criminal law, provocation is a possible defense by excuse or exculpation alleging a sudden or temporary loss of control as a response to another's provocative conduct sufficient to justify an acquittal, a mitigated sentence or a conviction for a lesser charge.

Dear old Wikki.

I guess they made it as early as possible. Announced at 10am. Certainly looked likely with the snow melting. Certainly suits Pompey though with so many players absent, and playing extra time Tuesday night. Gonna be a pile up of fixtures in coming months.

Reckon we might get a point from the rearranged game, which we would not have got today.

When I posted didn't realise how much rain there had been until I stuck my head out of door a bit later. Most fans I know travel independently so were en route when game was called off. It means I can buy a ticket off a mate who can't do Birmingham-Portsmouth journey midweek and see us get our rightful three points!

    • The sites in question though are not comparable to the builders yard by the station and less likely to be granted planning permission for 9 storey buildings. The builders yard fronts on to the railway line on one side and virtually no residential property surrounding on the other sides. The Gibbs & Dandy /Kwikfit and ED trading trading estate are surrounded at close proximity by residential, and in the case of the latter a Grade II building, so there would more stringent height restrictions. Both these sites are tired and in need of development to provide much needed housing.
    • Not sure if this is any help but was initally told to use google chrome as the browser and the code was the reference. However the person at Southwark parking took pity on me and did it for me
    • I can see how it could've worked 20 or 30 years ago, when you couldn't swing a pool cue in the Foresters without hitting a sparks, a plumber or a chippy, but the area has changed somewhat. I'm not sure people around here have such trade-able skills these days. Have a word with someone in your local and you'll see. People are always going to need their boiler fixed, a damp patch sorted or their dimmer switch dimmed, but I can pretty much guarantee I'm never going need my corporate policy complied with, my social media planned, my data mined, my green transport tsared, my information architected or my analytics analysed. It reminds me of the great DIY con of the mid to late seventies. My Mum bought into it, my Dad didn't. Anyway, my Mum won out and we let the gardener go (he went on to be TV's Timmy Mallett, so that's a warning from history), but my Dad shorted the house out and singed his head when he cut through the flex on his new Black & Decker hedge trimmer. We all laughed, of course, but he got his own back when, because we didn't use a qualified electrician to do things properly, she electrocuted herself when she pulled the back of the plug off her Carmen heated rollers while it was still in the socket. Keep things professional, say 'No!' to this sort of nonsense. We pay people a decent rate of pay because they're specialists at these things. I did once barter my sister's space hopper and roller skates for twenty-odd square foot of crazy paving, though. That was a birthday present my Mum never forgot, and not in a good way.
    • Thanks both of you. I have also been having the same problem. I emailed the named person on the letter, with no response. I also tried phoning and was transferred to another number which cut me off. I hope they extend the deadline for applying as there are likely to be many people without a permit by the deadline for applying.
