Whats your point, mine was that neither side went for the win for fear of losing, yours is?

My point - shared by most of the newspapers and the comments from players from both sides -

is that it was that it was Utd who were looked to be pushing for the win in the second half,

with City much the happier to take a point. I'm certainly not saying Utd went gung ho for it

as Berbatov would have stayed on the pitch when Hernandez came on.

I think Utd were there for the taking, shame not to see City go for jugular.

Either way it was a crap match and I'm more inclined to agree with Emerson on this one but you're right they were there for the taking.

Aston Villa 2 Man Utd 2

Man City 2 Birmingham 1

Newcastle 3 Fulham 2

Tottenham 3 Blackburn 1

West Ham 1 Blackpool 1

Wigan 2 West Brom 2

Wolverhampton 2 Bolton 1

Stoke 1 Liverpool 2

Everton 2 Arsenal 3

Chelsea 3 Sunderland 0

Hardy har har - I hope you don't actually bet!!

Given Man U have been decidedly average this season for the most part and are still in the race only improves their chances I think. I don't think they can get any worse. If they hit form the others will have to too. I have a suspicion that Chelsea may have just gone over the hill though Man U may not have quite enough to be worthy champions either. Pretty average all around really.

No, but nor do I post sectarian poison on here either. While my predictions may be amusing to some, your sectarian rubbish isn't.

I was at White Hart Lane on Saturday and once again Gareth Bale immense. We played some great football and could have won it seven-nil but then we let in two stupid goals at the end.

Watched Sunderland batter Chelsea yesterday and they thoroughly deserved their win. Makes the Spurs result last Tuesday look quite respectable now.

Tell me about it, Danny was superb, but then again the whole Sunderland team were superb, performance of the season so far.

I don't think Hernandez is a starting player at the mo, that's twice I've seen him start a match and not have much impact. Although he's not much helped by the return of Berbatov'z flailing hands in the air histrionics. The stage is set for the Rooster to save the day and all will be forgiven.

Looks like the League is up for grabs again this season, I think the 'top' teams are weaker, but credit has to go for the so called lesser teams, on their day they are more than capable of giving them a bloody nose.

This season has been refreshing with the so called lesser lights putting in some great performances. Lets hope it goes all the way to the 38th game of the season, rather rather fizzle out after 30 or 32 games. I've watched Sunderland live a few times this season, and to be honest yesterdays result was not a huge shock, they've played well enough to suggest they can turn over a team in that manner.

    • Most churches rent out halls for children's' parties but rarely adult parties, Christ Church only does afternoon parties,   The East Dulwich Community centre hires out halls to 9 pm only and all music needs to be on a sound restrictor as is in a residential area. St Johns with St Clements have a small hall but not sure if they allow adult parties. Nunhead Green has a newish community centre with a couple of different size halls. Most places seem to charge around £40 ph  with a deposit of £100/200 (returned if no damage or excess cleaning needed.
    • Hello, Recently there have been various comments made on the forum which have resulted in heated discussions being had. I for one, hold up my hand and wanted to personally thank whoever is keeping the forum going.. remember when it was likely to close. We are all adults and should known when it is right to continue or just ignore or if really feel it necessary comment via pm. I have had a long relationship with the forum and have bought, sold, offered advice and in deed made friends on the forum over the years. It is a public forum after all and everyone is entitled to express their opinion and is also free. I am not as tech minded as most but with the season of good will approaching and-knowing in this economic climate how many people are  struggling, I  thought it would be a lovely idea, to perhaps set up a just giving page to raise funds for a local charity who might appreciate a contribution towards their Christmas festivities… On a practical side, might just be to complicated to administer as I am sure all have charities that we support so my other thought was not me, as I am useless but to set up a just giving page and whatever monies are raised, perhaps contribute to the festivities that use to be run by local shops or whatever.. Maybe even use a local church hall and just make it special for perhaps folk that find it difficult to access events or no access for say wheel chair users.. guess really, one is looking for guidance from the church and of course volunteers. Shoot me down if you must or feel the need but this is my view and no, sadly I won’t be around in the months before Christmas but can help remotely.
