I'll admit to mildly goading Atila after the Arsenal result against Man U. He avoided commentating on the game at all afterwards. To those of you who, like Keef and Anna, believe he is being picked on, you only have to look at his own postings to see why some people might react in that way. I can't speak for anyone else but it's why I do.

Apart from slagging Man U off continually with nothing but childish comments I personally hate it when people always have to resort to using foul language which they appear to think cements their view as being the right view. Sam A is a fat $%&^%$, Patrice Evra is a ?$%^&*.

I see banter as an integral part of this thread. But if you dish it out you should be prepared to accept it. Why did Atila not make any post match comments after the Man U game? Maybe he takes this more seriously than I do. I don't know. But for anyone to think that poor old Atila is being goaded again and is not adult enough to deal with it in a grown up manner, now that really is patronising.

Really? How many titles, FA cups has he won?

Ok here's my take on the Manc game. It was a poor game and quality was lacking from both sides. The Arsenal were very inhibited and Mancs lacked ambition by playing 4-5-1 at home. The Rooney penalty miss was worth the ?250k he gets a week. I bet Manc supporters are happy they hung to such a loyal servant who is paying back the club that stood by him when his name was being dragged through the mud by the tabloids. He's a top lad. Is thtat better?

You didn't mention a time span in your original post. Keep up. I stick by what I said Allaradyce is an odious, nasty piece of work, and deserved the bullet. Maybe Fergie can give him a job as his number 2 as theryre such good buddies, I'm sure his coaching skills could be put to good use

Oooohhh touchy. I think you'll find others on here also think he's an odious piece of work. Didn't you say you thought banter was an integral part of this forum? Now get back in the wardrobe and back to the world of make believe you name calling beast you.

EDITED TO DELETE ORIGINAL POST ON REALISATION THAT I HAVE GOT THIS THREAD CONFUSED WITH THE 100s THREAD.

In case you had already read it, Admin, and are now scratching your heads thinking "WTF?"- my apologies. Put it down to a temperature of 103 degrees, heavy medication, and a scatty (pea) brain. Twas a genuine mistake:-$

I have an immense dislike for Allardyce based on his regular snidey comments about the former manager of the club I support. His comments about managing the likes of Real Madrid and other big teams were quite frankly laughable, but just summed up what a plonker he really is.

Re the "fat Sam" comment, he's quite commonly known as that. Much as Rafa was/is the "fat spanish waiter", Ferguson is "whiskey nose" and so and so forth. All about terrace chants and harmless ribbing and there is nothing wrong with it.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
