Show me the comments were aimed at Keef?. Normally I would say he is the closest poster on this thread to having a ph of 7.

What do you base that on Atila?

Given you have probably been the greatest shit stirrer on this thread these comments coming from are quite rich.

PS Apparently I accused Mr.Lush of being a xenophobe too. Shouldn't he be on the list of people I have to apologise to?

Three down, one to go. Well done. Seriously though. I think you can take it. Looking at the fixture list I take Arsenal to win the title (though it pains me to say so) by one or two points, depends how they recover from the last fortnight. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
The Nani scratch, and that is what is was compared to likes of Eduardo / Ramsey / Alan Smith type injuries, was unfortunate, but down to a crap tackle by a techincally challenged player rather than malicious in the Roy Keane (Alf Ing Haarland) mould. It never looked like a career ending moment, and any thought of anything serious was instantly dismissed once Nani chased Ref and beat his fist into the ground. No Nani is getting stick and not sympathy because he has cried wolf so often that many people think it's payback time. On the other hand if it had been say Ryan Giggs and not Nani the reaction would have been quite different.. I wonder why.

aaaanyway.

Well done Stoke. Not a humdinger of a tie, and perhaps one we could (but not necessarily should) have won.

Still, I've a soft spot for the Potters having lived there for a while, so good luck.

Btw, is it a truism of football that Parker is the best palyer on the field even when the team he plays for isnt very good?

So, Carragher is technically challenged? And if it had been a Scholes tackle it would have been a different story. Matt, are you just back on here for a wind up? Liverpool hadn't done anything for most of the season and we hadn't been blessed with your company. A couple of wins and you're Jack the Lad again. ;)
Scholes can't tackle for shit, but he's not a defender. Frankly though SP, you were the one that couldn't let it lie, then say that Jah stirring. And can you show me any post where a "scouser" has said anything other than that Carragher should've been sent off? Once again, we're talking about football, and very very well paid people. Excuse me if I don't lose any sleep, or God forbid, show no sympathy for one who throws himself to the ground on a regular basis. I really couldn give a shit about him, or any other player that I don't know from Adam, to be quite honest. If that makes me a bad person, then, oh well.

    • Just to repeat the news I was given – it's not being converted into a pub. As far as I know, there's no intention of dumbing down their restaurant offering.  Although as others have pointed out, Camberwell has two pubs – The Camberwell Arms and now the Michelin-starred Kerfield Arms – with excellent food. The Palmerston used to be the only pub in ED that was of such quality, but sadly no longer IMHO.
    • The country is in a real state.  What worries me about the Greens is encouraging migration and openly offering benefits to all with visas.  Where is the money for that coming from?  As if there is spare money, as if there is growth. Where I their holistic manifesto, ensuring funds are available and this is sustainable, and regulated? Incredibly dangerous and idealistic

    • I disagree with the use of the word "sectarianism" in this context and Starmer is a total a*se to have introduced it. In my mind, sectarianism conjures up the hatred and vicious violence of The Troubles in Northern Ireland.  The divide between the Greens and Reform are a long way from that and is more reminiscent of a time when the two main parties actually stood for something and voting was more a matter of following one's political beliefs. Nobody called that sectarianism.
