Read these yeasterday, and thought they were both fair and honest views on the Liverpool / Woy thing.

Phil McNulty Blog

Lawro's column

Think they both highlight where Woy failed, but also where he was let down. Seem fair, and pretty much sum up my feelings on it.

Anyway, all over nw, and lets hope Kenny lives up to the status that he is given at Liverpool. I just hope this isn't similar t "King Kev's" return to Newcastle...

Was at the Emirates yesterday with Sean McG and BellendenBelle.

Firstly, it's easily the best stadium I've ever been to. The views, even from our slightly odd corner position were phenomenal and for mid-Jan the pitch was in superb condition. Arsenal fans were friendly enough but the stereotype of being a bit on the quiet side is indeed true - the atmosphere is a little "subdued" when they aren't playing well.

Leeds played as equals except for the last ten minutes of each half when we were under the cosh. I've seen Leeds play better recently but for the most part, Arsenal were abject. None of their players seem to want it.

A draw was probably a fair result all-in-all and I went away happy if a little deflated that we so nearly had another Premier League scalp for the second season running. Walcott let himself down although I missed the dive itself. Arshavin had a shocker and was on the receiving end of a hell of a lot of abuse from his own fans. The Leeds travelling fans made a LOT of noise as usual. We'll look forward to the replay at Elland Road.

So will berbatov do a Theo and admit it? Unlikely

But gerrard was a straight red for a shocking tackle

None of this is kennys fault btw but you don't need to possess a vivid imagination to paint a picture if Roy was still in charge and these events were playing out in the same way.

Not as many as Rooney, Berbatov ,Nani and previously Forlan, Van Nistleroy, the fake Ronaldo. And they have the neck to point the finger at others.

Not many stand out ties in 4th round. Southampton v ManU has echoes of the 1976 final; Everton v Chelsea looks the most interesting of the all-PL games and Fulham can try and get revenge on Spurs for last year's QF (talking of revenge, have West Ham and Forest met in the Cup since the 1991 semi?).

Happy with Coventry at home - should see us through to 5th round.

I've seen tackles like that, week in week out, commited by all clubs, most go unpunished or get a yellow card. This one was old traffordish. Had a similar taclkle been made by Carrick on Stevie G he wouldn't have walked.

*yawn*

Are you a little sore that Arsenal couldn't get a result yesterday?

If we are going to talk diving there's a long tradition of it from your boys. :)

I thought United played well today. It was a bit of a dull game, which was a shame, but it could have been a banana skin what with Kenny's return etc. Glad to have got it out of the way.

United played well? Really? What game were you watching? As for a long tradition don't make me laugh. Pires maybe, thats about it. The Manc list is a yard long. Same onld Mnacs, old traffordish decisons yet again. Like I said had Carrick felled Stevie G in a similar mannner, he wouldn't have walked. And your yawn is as boring as watching your team, and yep, you've biten once again.

    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
    • My car was stolen a few months back from my driveway but I had a tracker and found it in a private car park in Lavender Hill close to the police station. I was lucky. The thieves hide it up against that eventuality. High spec cars are targeted I'm afraid. The way it was stolen required the thieves to wire in their own computer accessing a front light (which had had a metal sheet welded across which they prised off). They had searched for a tracker but not found it. They also had to cut away a steering wheel lock. They had to come well tooled up and briefed to do what they did. Beating them off is non trivial. As I said, them not finding my tracker was just lucky.
    • Been with The Gardens now for around 30 years and very rarely do I have a problem. I went in to collect a form and mentioned that my leg was hurting and hot- was seen immediately by the Practice nurse who then arranged an appointment on the Saturday with the Extra care service at TJ Centre where I saw a doctor, who then sent me off to Kings for further tests.. I recently booked a flu jab but appointment is in 2 weeks.
    • Have used Milk and More for years. When the price went up we cancelled a couple of pints but we still have 8 pints a week. If we are expecting family etc we buy from Sainsburys to top up. We kept on with M & M as if weather bad we could order extra stuff from them to save us a trip to Sainsburys Local. Also gives employment to our milkman.
