daizie
yes, so why did she go? She must be on a different planet if she didnt expect to be picked for every task plus she was getting paid the most! Keef
I thought it showed a really sad lack of imagination from the voting public. She basically did well every day, and yet they still voted for her.I'm not a fan of hers, but actually, she made it kind of interesting, the rest are a very dull crowd indeed, and that Scotish half of the gay couple (don't know what their names are, or who they are)is unbelievably annoying! Jah Lush
Asked why she thought she was being picked for the Bushtucker trials, she said: "Either they love me or they hate me. No idea." SeanMacGabhann
what's all this nonsense about?veggies might have some moral ground on this but in a world where most of us consume meat AND kill vermin just because, how do two people rationed to rice and beans become cruel for killing and eating a rat? Fair play to 'em I say Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1982-im-a-celebrity/page/5/#findComment-272940 Share on other sites
RosieH
PET rat Sean, PET rat. I think we're not allowed to eat our pets. So, if I own a horse for the riding thereof, I cannot eat it.BUT.If I own a horse specifically for the production of dog food, I CAN eat that if times get really really hard. SeanMacGabhann
If you owned a riding horse you wouldn't eat it.. but you could couldn't you? legally I mean? RosieH
That's what I'm getting at - I'm not sure I could legally eat a pet horse. I believe that is the difference in this case - the rats were tame and owned.Sorry, didn't mean to touch an Irish nerve with the horse eating - know they're to you what cows are to Hindus. dulwichmum
Indeed you could! Apparently some of the Queen Mother's own injured race horses horses eventually ended up on French tables! I remember it on the news destinctly, but I can only find this article online. I am considering becoming a vegetarian for the good of the planet.
