I thought it showed a really sad lack of imagination from the voting public. She basically did well every day, and yet they still voted for her.


I'm not a fan of hers, but actually, she made it kind of interesting, the rest are a very dull crowd indeed, and that Scotish half of the gay couple (don't know what their names are, or who they are)is unbelievably annoying!

veggies might have some moral ground on this but in a world where most of us consume meat AND kill vermin just because, how do two people rationed to rice and beans become cruel for killing and eating a rat? Fair play to 'em I say

Indeed you could! Apparently some of the Queen Mother's own injured race horses horses eventually ended up on French tables! I remember it on the news destinctly, but I can only find this article online. I am considering becoming a vegetarian for the good of the planet.

    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
