There's a big do at Dulwich Sports Club (juset off burbage road), fireworks, bonfire food etc. ?5 entrance fee and starts at 7pm

Blackheath. Went past there a few days ago and it looked like there might be fireworks. if not, I agree with the beautifully named titch juicy!

ugh went to that Dulwich sports club thing last year. Absolutely mobbed, ground a quagmire, dismal place at the best of times, poor fireworks, very expensive food and drink, a rip off.

Very Crowded,Long Queues I agree Firework were ok but Mud Awful. Tip we managed to get out quick by going through the changing rooms!

We did the Burbage Road ones last year, very good but poor facilites for the number of people (toilets/drinks) and I want to see what the big fireworks are like...

Just got back from the Southwark council fireworks in Southwark Park, fantastic 15 min display, and free. More fool Dulwich for turning the event down.

It was Cllr James Ali Baba who turned it down . C Pal was good 20 mins kids display but ?5 per person.

I agree, Brockwell Park fireworks were fantastic last night.

As it was the 200 year anniversary of Brockwell Hall, they were extra special -

set to music and lasting 30 mins!

They have been set to music before.

And 25 minutes (sadly, I looked at my watch!)

But I agree, very good - and FREE!

Though it was a pity there weren't more 37s laid on, after the first one which came didn't even pick people up from the ED bus stop as it was so full, we walked down to the park, but I wonder how many people missed the display due to not being able to get on a bus and not being able to walk.

I've been going to Brockwell Park fireworks for the last decade at least,

and I only recall music two years ago, which wasn't that great, more of a background

annoyance really. Last night on the other hand, there was an attempt to choreograph the display,

which worked pretty well.

Have to agree to disagree over the length, I thought it had finished after 25, but then the finale started up.

It was very busy, I hope everyone managed to make it on time, the 37 isn't to be relied upon at the best

of times, and a 30 minute walk would have been a bit long for some.
