Paul
Does anyone know of any golf courses and driving ranges that are easy to get to from east dulwich without a car? I've played a few rounds at Mitcham but am looking for a better course. I'd also like to find a good golf pro for lessons.Cheers! Paul
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it's a private club and only take non-members on week days. I'll give the pro a call though and see if he'll give lessons. fatfightersforever
hi have you tried aquarius in Marmora road? Not personally a golfer but apparently they have greta lessons and it's right in SE22 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2038-golf-courses-lessons/#findComment-58396 Share on other sites

peckhamboy
Beckenham Place Park is a reasonably well kept municipal course. I think you can get trains from Peckham Rye.Beckenham Place Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2038-golf-courses-lessons/#findComment-58511 Share on other sites
Nick
Highly recommend Darenth Valley (Peckham Rye to Shoreham on the Sevenoaks line). Considering it's a public course, it's always kept in good condition and never too busy. Beckenham Place Park has been left to rot under the poor management of Lewisham council. EDOldie
Beckenhams good in the summer but poor in the winter and not difficult to get to on the train. An alternative would be Elmers End Golf range which is a train from E D and a tram and then a 10 minute walk. Bit of a fag but the lessons there are good. And you can aim your balls at the trams.
